. in fact people who have read the book should just leave this thread.
Agreed, the music is excellent, very suitable.
Thsi entire series is very good.
A question to those who know, this current 'season' we are watching, 10 episodes or whatever. The actual book, was it a collection of 'books' presented in one volume? As LOTR was 6 books presented in 3 volumes? If so how many 'books' are within the volume the author has produced? Or has he made many?
Just wondering exactly what can we look forward too longevity wise in the future?
One of the very very few programs that i dont skip the intro, love the music![]()
Just finished reading the first book today. I haven't watched any episode yet as wanted to finish the book first. Absolutely cannot wait to watch the series now and see how it comes across on the screen.
*Promises not to post any spoilers*
There's four published volumes. #3 Storm of Swords was massive. In fact in the UK got broken into two parts Steel and Snow and Blood and Gold. The forthcoming volume #5 A Dance with Dragons is really a companion to #4 A Feast for Crows. Same timeline just split North/South. So assuming they left a lot out, they could cover the first five volumes in four seasons.AFIK each "collection" of books is about the same length and there are 7 books in total so 7 x 10 episode seasons I guess. It's going to be a long time before we see the final scene on tv especially since the author hasn;t written books 6 and 7 yet and sometimes takes 5 years to release each one.
It might be 2023 before we see the conclusion on tv (so long as some stupid studio exec hasn't shelved the series before then![]()
It was. Look again.was there an episode 8 last night? not seeing in my normal spots
