The rule is the one in the stickied thread explaining the rules.
"NO discussion of movies or tv shows that haven't been released in the UK, if it hasn't been shown in a UK cinema or on a UK tv station, no discussion is allowed."
As the rule says, if it hasnt been shown on a UK tv station, you cant talk specifics about it. Doesnt matter if its been shown in the US , or in France, or in someones house in downtown Peckham. If its not been shown on a UK tv station, no specifics. Its a pretty straight forward rule, its not particularly obtuse and is quite black and white. Rules is rules and all that.
Am I missing something?
This HAS been shown in the UK, on Sky Atlantic HD, last night at 9pm, the same esisode aired in the US just the night before, so we're only 1 day behind.
We can discuss anything we like about it at this point, as both sides of the atlantic have seen to the same point. For a period of around 16 hours however we can't discuss things as some folks may have downloaded whilst others await the UK broadcast.
I really enjoyed episode 8, in fact, I've enjoyed all of it so far. I thought developments in the North certainly make things interesting at the wall.
I liked the fact the wee girl escaped capture with her needle, and if I recall her wolf is somewhere outside the city to be rediscovered later.
Old Ned, he does rather expect more than people will attain, the battles to come should prove interesting, I wonder will the season end with a charge, a battle, a who lives who dies style event, no doubt it will.
Just as this seaosn is 10 episodes, it doesn't mean future ones might not be more, and they might be ableto extend content, but little of this feels rushed, it just seems to move with pace so i am rather glad.
I'll probably start reading this series of books now, I had not thus far.
