Love this show, remain very impressed, guess they'll be replacing more cast for the next series.

Interestingly I think the credits are different for each startup, previously the map has showed the errie and tonight showed the twins. Can someone confirm?

Saved money by skipping entire battle scenes and also saved an episode of time as well.
Are Jamie's boys destroyed or simply routed and running to tywin?
How many did Rob lose excluding those he sacrificed.
Just thinking it could get interesting if the riverlords have men left to reinforce Rob.

Looking forward to next week which I think will be the season finale, and i assume is the end of book one?

Blonde kid's gotta die, preferably by 'needle'
Did his mother put him up to it and pretend shock or is he his grandfather's son?

Such a good show.
 
Knew it was coming as have read the books. Feel a little cheated that the battles were entirely skipped, i'm think they are brief in the books, but prety sure you see the taking of Jamie. I'm guessing it was for time and budget reasons (which there should be more of both by the 2nd season), but still a little dissapointed.

The production is greater than one actor. The rest are more than holding their own. Besides Rob can easily grow into his dads shoes. He is lord of winterfell now.

They aren't always different, but they do change yes.

To be fair there isn't much of these battles in the books either.


Great episode, except I didn't like Shae

Correct. If you look carefully there's also those bands that display a kind of tapestry representing the events prior to Game of Thrones i.e. the Dragon reigning supreme, the Stag and Dire Wolf doing battle against the Dragon, then the Stag reigning with the Lion in the background.

I thought she was great! More interesting than in the books, might not be the prettiest actress in GoT but she knows how to be sexy!
