In preproduction now, I wonder where in norn Iron its filmed, I know some is on the sets in Belfast itself, but forest stuff I assume they go to woods not far from here, might see a few actors about over the summer, who knows.

Why are the Night's Watch moving out? Wasn't really explained.

Pretty sure Mormont said about whole villages being deserted, rumours of wildlings gathering en masse and a few other bits and pieces...basically the reason they are going...also to try and find benjen if possible.

I have to say I loved it, some real depth to the story and it looks like its just about to kick off. Still it sucks that Sean Bean was killed, I do like him as an actor!

I think I'm going to have to pick up the books now.

I was planning to do the same, but given the rate at which they are being written it could be 10+ years before the story is done. Presumably there's going to be cliffhangers with a long wait in the books.

I didn't like the end episode, it could've been longer and more happening. I'm going to call game of thrones, BLEACH as every episode is dragged out week by week till the season ends.
