Am I a psychic? He's only 22, ridiculous to write him off now.
I dunno, are you? Maybe it's just not working out for him here, maybe it's the EPL. Maybe he'll come good, I think the team could spend the cash better elsewhere, assuming we get a good price for him.

We'd just have to sign another winger though. I think it's more likely Elanga leaves, rumours of a loan for the second half of this season.
Sancho started the season pretty well but if he's struggling then he's struggling and we should try and help him get well again.
Just reminds me of the players who struggled at United but were fine before and after. At some point we should offload instead of letting him go for free eventually. Hopefully he comes good but it can't be good for him if he's gone from best player in the league to underperforming and missing the WC etc.

For the life of me i can’t see where Pickford could go. Literally no one with a good chance of winning silverware or getting in the champs league needs him. He’s gonna have to lower his expectations I feel to maybe Palace or Leicester level.

Why was Maddison left out against us? Couldn't help but feel there was something happening in the background. Would love for us to as another CM though. Feel like we are lacking depth there in particular, quality depth.
The Man Utd press are reporting only loans are likely due to the clubs financial situation. A combination of spending more than planned in the summer, and the fact the club is currently in the process of being sold (we assume).
Depay keeps being mentioned - could be a loan option? Not ideal but he’s a better player these days.

100% but don't discount the work Longstaff and Willock put in.
Very interesting window for us. You don't want to rock the boat but there's definitely room for improvement.
I believe Macrus can be had for 10million due to his contract situation.
That would give us a forward line up of Isak, Wilson, Miggy, Maxi, Thuram, Wood with Big Joe dropping back to the middle after covering Maxi fitness issues. (He's did rather well also)
Ideally we want to be clearing out Frazer, Richie and Murphy.
Would love Maddison but doubt they sell even though his contract is runing down.
If we can get rid of them 4 it's a good start. Willock and longstaff cannot be discounted but long term reality is I think they are squad players. The key is getting another player of the same calibre of Bruno in CM as a starter, but that player would have to compliment BG too, so he doesn't have to adjust his game. That's when we can really push on. The rest feels like it's starting to knit together nicely.
I only say that because should this form continue we will be fighting on another front next year as well and we will need another 3-4 class players to maintain league form and have any chance of making a European or cup run. Europe was a dream even for this season, yet may become a reality. Took so many of us by surprise but I love what's going on at the moment.
Bruno can play anywhere in the middle that's the beauty. If a midfield started we could go for a defensive or attacking specialist.
I would be more inclined towards an attacking one but then again we haven't really seen Isak in the team who tends to drop deep and has some of the best ball progression stats.
Who knows just got to trust the process been pretty spot on so far hah

Hopefully the selling thing is true. I would rather that then get any signings in. The Glazer's are 100% the kind of people that would take the lightbulbs out if they sold their house.
I'm thinking Chelsea or Spurs.

Anyway, Pickford hasn’t delayed signing, it’s the club who have yet to greenlight the contract. Pickford has already agreed it.
Seems like there’s some genuine fear at board level that you could be relegated and they wouldnt be able to afford the contract.
I know we all laugh at Pickford and he's always prone to a howler but behind the clownlike exterior, he's actually become a very good keeper.
Statistically speaking, looking at every aspect of keeping and how it effects how many goals a side concedes, he's ranked 3rd in the League this season. As a comparison to the big 6 keepers, Alisson is ranked 1st, Ederson 8th, Ramsdale 10th, Mendy 12th, Lloris 14th and De Gea 17th.

If we trust the mail as a source then sure but he'd be daft to sign a new deal with Everton as they are currently.

Interestingly, as of course there are lots of things to look at, he is 2nd for number of saves. Guess also this is because he is 'busier'.
