Interestingly, as of course there are lots of things to look at, he is 2nd for number of saves. Guess also this is because he is 'busier'.

Allison is 4th.

Edit: Spurs could be a good shout...could Spurs cash in on Hugo? Although is it really an upgrade? Hmm.
This guy below does an incredibly detailed analysis of keepers.
When people talk about xg it's usually only looked at in relation to an attempt on goal but stattos can calculate the xg from any position on the pitch based on the positions of the 22 players on the pitch. This guy essentially looks at every action a keeper makes (saves, catching, distribution, sweeping etc) and then looks at how that action has effected the xg. For example, at the point in which an attacker crosses the ball the xg of that situation might be 0.02 however what is the xg after the keeper has decided what he wants to do and carried out his action?
1. Keeper stays on his line and does nothing - defender heads it clear and xg decreases (+ for the keeper) or an attacker has a free header and the xg increases (- for the keeper).
2. Keeper comes out to claim the cross - he catches the ball safely and xg decreases (+ for the keeper), he attempts to punch the ball clear (could be a positive or negative depending on the outcome) or he fumbles the cross and the opposition have a chance to score (- for the keeper).

This guy will look at what decision the keeper took and the resulting outcome and compare it with the xg at the point of the cross.

Basically you are saying Alison is keeping Liverpool in it and Manchester United are exceeding expectations despite De Gea being extremely poor (Although I beg to differ I think he is having a good season).

Enzo...am I missing something here?

Is all of the chat on here based from the World Cup?

When I search Enzo or Enzo Fernandez, nothing comes up. Everyone seems to have gone mad on him very recently after a few games. Please do correct if so though. :)

Edit: Not just here of course as the media has also exploded about him.

I'd take anything you read re Fernandez with a pinch of salt. He's been nailed on to sign for all of us, Utd, Chelsea and Real in the past week. Benfica's entire business model is to trade players and they use the media in an attempt to flush out interest and or drive up the price for their players all the time. If you believed everything coming out of the Portuguese media in the past 5 years, Liverpool and Utd have bought about 50% of all players in the Portuguese League.

I'm not sure about other clubs but we've been linked with Fernandez for a good few months now and I have no doubt that we're interested in him. Whether we're interested in him at £100m odd is another matter. I suspect it's similar with other clubs rumoured to be in for him. He's had a fantastic start at Benfica and looked very good for Argentina but I'm not sure that's enough to warrant a £100m price tag. I suspect Benfica are just trying to play everybody off of each other, hoping one of them just pays the release clause to guarantee they get him.

My gut feeling is that he won't move in January and somebody gets him for less than the release clause in the summer but I'd never rule out Chelsea doing something mad. Todd Boehly strikes me as somebody you could sell magic beans to.

While Enzo is certainly a very big talent I suspect Mac Allister would cost half as much and is at least as good a prospect.
