I agree. Talk is Benfica want the release clause in full, €120m which we will never pay. Short of PSG and City I can’t see anyone paying it either. Benfica sell players every season, they don’t need the money.

It's their business model and they're very good at it. They sell players at the right time at the right price (for them). They have him tied up until 2027 and they know they will get €120m in the summer, so why sell him for less now.

However, if we want to get him in the summer window he won't be any cheaper so then why wait and let's get him now.

Is his stock going to get any higher then it is now? I cant see anyone paying 120mil for him now or in the summer.

His release clause is €120m so unless they sign a new contract (can't see how Enzo would agree to that), that's the max they're getting. I think people will pay €120m for him in the summer, the likes of Madrid, PSG, Man City/United would.

I've always said that I dont think we will go for Enzo. Always said that I think we will do Amrabat and one of either Enzo or Bellingham (not both) and that of those two it will be Bellingham we try for. So Amrabat and Bellingham. I'm sticking by that.

I just dont see us paying Enzo's fee and beside that I dont think we actually want both Enzo and Bellingham, it will be one or the other imo.

I'm still fully expecting to see Amrabat signed in January and an attempt at a Bellingham deal agreed in January for a summer move.

We wont at that price if we are going for Bellingham. Im not entirely sure why anyone would tbh.

Apparently Portugal's visa requirements for playing there are more relaxed than those in the UK. A player needs to be seen as an exceptional talent or have played for their international team a certain percentage of actual games played to get a UK Visa. I'm not sure Enzo would've been granted one if any team bought him direct from South America.

I believe thats the case but wasn't 100% so I didn't want to be the one to post it lol.

Okay then just buy Benfica instead and use them as a feeder club. Only cost about 6 Maguire's.

United should sell Sancho in Jan or summer. Unless of course people who understand football better than I do think he'll come good?
