Winter Transfer Window 23/24

We don't have a great history of signing strikers except for Sonny. Saldado, Jansen and Richarlison have all under performed.

All of these strikers have had to live in the shadow of Kane. It must be pretty depressing knowing that no how hard you work, you’re never going to get in the team regularly - and that you’ll always be graded against the club’s greatest ever striker when you do.

It’s probably dissuaded more than one forward from joining Spurs too.

Any credible source that Newcastle are interested in him or vice versa?

I wouldn't be surprised, given his moral compass and how quickly he's bottled it over there, but it smells of gravy on the windup.

Looks like Dragusin to Spurs is a done deal. Some great comments from his agent:

”Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world... I can't believe we turned Bayern down! But that's the decision.”

I think Werner might be a decent signing for Spurs. He'll definitely provide a threat and should be under less pressure.
