Wolfenstein: The New Order

Minimum CPU Spec (Core i7 or AMD equivalent) is crazy for such an average looking game must be poorly optimised

The system requirements are based on the game being a next-gen experience running at 60fps. These are the system requirements to deliver the PC game as it was intended to be experienced.

Not minimum requirements to play the game. Also you can't entirely judge the graphics based on youtube gameplay vids as even at 1080p it never looks as good as the real thing (I'm not saying it will be amazing, but so many people judge games before they are released and think their word is fact).

It'll be interesting to see how the graphics scale up from RAGE. There was mention of DOOM having 4 times the graphical fidelity of RAGE, so i'm hoping for an improvement of some sort, iD Tech 5 may have had it's detractors (mainly from unhappy AMD owners) but it's scalable nature has me hoping for positive things.

if you want to experience Wolfenstein: The New Order at a **solid 60 frames per second**, you'll need to bring a Core i7 or equivalent AMD chip.

This made me chuckle **solid 60 frames per second** .:D

No multi-player won't be getting my Dosh.

dunno whether to get this or not on one hand i think it maybe a 7 or 8 game but doom 4 beta is what im looking at as im a doom nut :p

think price will drop on it pretty quick tbh.its not a massive game for the masses bit more oldskool guess well see on launch.

I think Carmack said three times the graphical richness of RAGE, but either way it should look excellent. I must admit that at one point I was tempted to pre-order for the Doom beta, but thankfully common sense prevailed. :D

SImply have it for £22.99 currently for the STEAM version BUT if I got it from there would I still get the STEAM pre-order goodies? Those include 2 additional gifts to the Doom beta everyone gets which are 2 TF2 Heavy special items - special armour and a new hat.

£35 on STEAM....

Nope.

Publisher must be getting desperate one well known shop is having a £5 off pre-order price until next week. Pre-orders must be very low.

I'm happy to give you the TF2 stuff when I get it, no chance with the BETA though lol.

Thanks mate much appreciated but as above these limited items are non tradeable :(

I'll pony up most likely and to get the Doom Beta Heh. Wonder of it will support 21:9 aspect ratio!
