Why don't ID start making great MP games again?

Q1, Q2, Q3A, RTCW and ET were some of the best multiplayer FPS games to grace god greens earth. Who gives a **** about single player!!!

ET was the worse game - maps, gameplay, teamplay, all not quite as good - but still great because it was a 95% carbon copy of RTCW! It flourished because it was free. I still rate it as the second best pc multiplayer fps tho and clanned in it for years!

Its been a while but i think i might be having a good feeling about this one and i haven't taken my medication yet :D. But OMG 50 gig of hard drive space needed, its gonna be a lump of a game or have tons of cool cutscenes :cool:
 
It'll probably be uncompressed audio, just like Titanfall. That and it's an id engine, so it'll have huge scope for textures.

Anyone know when the review embargo will lift? I'm itching to pre-purchase.

Shooting nazis in the face, once again. And hopefully the return of mecha-hitler.

And since I'm a sucker, Doom 4 beta (who knows how it'll turn out).

Cancelled my Amazon preorder and went with Watch Dogs instead.

Just dont think Wolfenstein will hold my attention enough and be too linear. After being stung by Thief not long ago, that game had the same flaws.

Hopefully the story will be good. But yeh, the same could be said for pretty much every FPS released in the last few years - conveniently placed cover, waves of enemies, shoot them, they die, repeat (possibly with the exception of Arma 3, where it's, get up, get shot in head from miles away, repeat :p)
