Wolfenstien 2 Vulkan benchmarks:

None taken.

I'm only going off what most game engines use, I'm not a developer.

I know nor am I but I can read and try take something from it.

Look at it this way :

1) Games normally do not give this option in the menu its hidden in games Configs files if even available to see.

2) This is an AMD sponsored game and the setting is in the menu and disabled.

3) You did say above its faster for Nvidia set to ON. :)

They practically sabotaged Open GL back in the day and with UWP they want people using DX :s
Good memory. I remembere MS and their previous attempts with "Games for windows" and what a ******* disaster that was. Running fraps to complete GTA to slow down frames.

Was it not the GTA Garage software (some desktop app that ran with the game AFAIR) that tanked FPS due to sucking up memory?

Not that long ago they had to do a rebuild of Dirt 3 without it and then give it away to everyone who owned the Games for Windows version of Dirt 3 on Steam.

ComputerBase already tested it, and it made Vega 64 lose 3% of it's performance, and corrupted the image quality as well. On GTX 1080 it caused a drop of just 1%.

In other words, it's a useless setting as of now.

"GPU culling (ie the rejection of, for example, invisible polygons) should be switched off on AMD graphics cards and on Nvidia accelerators according to the game recommendation." Well they got that wrong Lol

Yes, seems to be the other way around in game.

Shh, oldest and first GPU I owned was a GeForce MX440.

Think yourself lucky i had an mx420. Made me buy a whole new PC with a 9800 pro in it. Funny thing is the rest of my PC was probably holding it back lol. went from just about managing 30fps in Soldier of fortune 2 to maxing it out at around 200fps average.
