Wolfenstien 2 Vulkan benchmarks:

Surprised to see 1080 Ti still hold performance king in all resolutions.

How really very embarrassed to see what Rapid Packed Math can do to games, absolutely useless and massive waste of time. What a failure.

Look like big poor Vega for a AMD sponsored Vulkan title RTG used most advanced and very expensive newer utter useless technologies like HBM2, HBCC, Rapid Packed Math, Deferred Renderer, Primitive Binning etc that would still not able to outperformed big Pascal in 2017 and upcoming little Volta and big Volta in 2018. :o

Is it possible they need to tweak drivers like the recent Forza thing and nvidia. Engage hyper drive or something :p Wouldnt surprise me if its failed to fully mesh into Vega specific capabilities.

The Forza charts looked all wrong for nvidia but these look pretty normal. they probably have something left in the tank but i doubt it's anywhere near what they had for Forza. Games new though so both sides usually have something to give.

nVidia don't seem to have released optimised drivers yet for this title, am guessing they're tweaking them until right at the last minute (having seen AMD's performance in this game).

Probably still busy clipping the non-visible textures or reducing the image quality to the naked eye to gain 0.2 fps :D

Matt keeps putting smiling faces up and hinting at more from AMD as well. He knows something for sure :D:D:D. It would seem both have not locked this down straight out of the gate but tbh performance looks great any how. This is the second game using vulkan and performance is off the charts.

You'll see soon enough.

Wolfenstein is great. Now uploading a 1080P video, getting around 220-280FPS at maximum settings and it looks and plays lovely. :)

Don't know how anyone can say this looks rubbish. It looks wonderful at 3440x1440 Uber settings, and that's without upping the resolution scale to 200% either. Haters gonna hate though. :p

I captured some footage earlier.

Or maybe some people are just easily pleased :p

I suspect this is a game that could benefit greatly from sweetfx but unfortunately I don't think that works with vulkan or dx 12 api yet.
