Woo-hoo, the clocks go back to GMT this weekend!

I already miss it being light at 10pm

Did a roast, watched a movie, watched united get shafted in the *******, had a nap, then went for some food thinking it was 9. Wasn't even 7...

People forget that the times of sunrise and sunset don't change per day. For example, tomorrow's sunrise and sunset times (info from BBC weather) is 6:57 and 16:39. It has been those times for goodness how long.

Am I reading this wrong or are you saying that the sunrise and sunset times stay identical for extended periods?

Most times at work when the clocks change, get someone banging on the door shouting “why aren’t you open? It’s 10am” when clocks go back.

Then when clocks go forward, get someone pull up in our car park under the store as myself and other colleagues leave “it’s only 3:30pm”

Obviously didn’t look at their phone, any computer/tablet or other devices that change the time automatically
I.... may have done this.

I can remember certain times when it gets dark. When I finish work at 20:30, its daylight then between 3rd week in May and 3rd week August. How do I remember this? It's the time of the month when my grandad died and then its my mum's birthday.

They change gradually all time??

Words fail me

It might have been clearer if you said "for example, 30th October is 6:57 and 16:39. It has been those times for goodness how long." Is that what you mean?

If so, I'm not sure why you think "People forget that the times of sunrise and sunset don't change per day." Like we're all here now thinking "what's going on? It's getting dark early? I don't remember this happening last year..."

You're reading a somewhat ambiguously worded post wrongly I would say.

If not old cheesefest needs to write yet another letter of complaint, this time to the master of the solar system ;)
