Dawson shouldn't have been excluded in the first place IMO. Would rather King had been dropped than Daws. Was arguably the most consistent English CB last season.

But seeing as how Capello dropped Dawson, you're probably right. On both points.
King does have pace though, and a lot of it. Wether he can still use it or not is another matter.

To be fair I think we have better players and in better form than Rio so I don't think it's that big a loss tbh.

Agreed. Daws plays with his heart though. I'm sure he'll do well. Just worried about King. Don't know if so much trust should be placed upon his bandy knees.

I guess it's a good thing we've got over a week to train whoever it is to play with Terry, presumably King, we do have decent depth there. But lets make sure we make Heskey train alone in a padded cell somewhere.
