it'll be interesting to see how Zidane is treated by the public now. It's comparable to what Beckham did, but the difference is Beckham kicked the guy in the shin when he was on the floor. Zidane put the guy down hard and near broke his jaw in the process.
 
I'm actually very happy that Italy won it, after what Zidane did, Italy deserved it. :mad: Zidanes the biggest idiot, what a way to end his career. I thoguht he was a good sport aswell, guess I was wrong :mad:

I posted that smilie because your post didn't make sense and I was seeking clarification.

I think he'll be vilified by the French public, and I think he probably deserves it.

Its a shame his career will be forever blighted now, but its no-one's fault but his own.

Treat him like the Legend he is.
You cant define a player that has had a pretty clean playing career by one thing.
Who knows what the Italian guy said to him, he probably deserved the head butt

Yeah he probably did. That doesnt mean Zidane can pull a stunt like that. in any game, let alone the cpu final:(

And over such a pointless thing as someone making a mistake about what someone nearly broke. I mean does it really matter... we all saw the strike. Some people just don't quit making mountains out of molehills...

Asolutely. No excuse for it whatsoever, if we gave a kicking to 'everyone who deserved it' half the people we know would be on their knees. You just can't go around doing that, especially when watched by billions...

The French public won't be that bothered, in their eyes Zidane is God regardless of what he has done. Plus he is a legend for doing it, I can't believe people are so bothered about it.
