WTF!
The strangest game i have ever watched in recent times! Italy go 1 down then proceed to play brilliantly. Half time. Italy come out and play like they did 5 years ago. Absolute rubbish! What the hell did they say or not say at half time to them. France played very well in the second half. Dominated Italy. How the little Denis Wise! well! I should say the the back 4 for Italy played their usual selves and saved the rest of the team from heartbreak. They kept them in the game. Bring on Extra time. The spanking continues. The Italian front half can't do anything right and France continue to keep the majority of play.

How he could have won the game for France if he had just put it a few inches either side. Then he proceeds to do something that only he will ever understand. 2 things could have happened...
1) Something very nasty was said to him. Still he should not have reacted!
2) He had some crazy idea to mark himself in the book for this and be the centre of all the talk for this cup over shadowing the Italians winning.
Utter madness, i can't understand why on earth he did this? Shades of Cantonna!
My honest opinion, like anyone cares!, Italy did not play very well and i don't think they deserved it on that performance alone. People can say, well, they were the better team (Italy v France) throughout the tournament, but this is not why you win the cup. You win because you win the final. Not deserved, but this is not what counts.
Roll on the next fours years to what will be a farce of a next world cup.
