Great screen shots Nexus18, really want a QD Oled PC monitor sometime, not interested in LG 42'' sTV still too big imo.
The colour reproduction is also better on this due to the Quantum dots and lack of white sub-pixel.

Ah, that makes sense. Cheers! That will come down to Bezel size, also the panels native resolution is higher than what is stated to allow pixel shifting as it runs. so it's going to have a little extra width.
Nothing they can do to bump you up the queue or give you something to tide you over? That's pretty poor to be honest
It is. Dell are not what they used to be in my experience. What was your issue and did they say you can keep the monitor until they replaced it? I mean if it is a case a dead pixel or something like that I would rather keep it and wait. That way you get a fresh new panel again in 4-5 months would be my thinkingPretty much said there is nothing available I said I'd wait 4 weeks max but said that it is very very unlikely.
Very poor show
It's ****** m8 won't turn pick up any inputs just lights but dead screen tried every input otherwise I'd keep and wait as the issue was screen peel but I thought il turn it on and at least try it lol but nothingIt is. August is the delivery schedule for new orders now it seems. Crazy.
Also a shower thought, watching some LG OLED videos on youtube and some reviewers highlighting why you should NOT run the pixel/panel refresh too often. Sony's own OLED FAQ states not to run a panel refresh more than once a year, Sony use LG OLED panels.
Whilst Samsung/Dell make no mention of any limitations here so I imagine Samsung have either worked around the pixel degrade span by using pixel/panel refresh, or QD-OLED does not actually have this issue at all. You could effectively run panel refresh on this AW 5 times in a year assuming it is used 24/7 to build up those 1500 hours per prompt or more if you spot image retention.
I'll likely do the same if there's a 38" ultrawide or 32" 16:9 available by then.I'm not going to worry about burn in at all. I'll sell it before the 3 years anyway.
Pixel refresh is nowhere near the same as Panel refresh

Not reordering the 34'' QD Oled from Dell though, happy with my 27'' Lcd 1440p monitor for now.

Well mine will be going back soon so maybe one of you will get it It's a good one too, no issues with fan noise nor marks on screen like some others.
If the current second order gets pushed back till after May or has issues where I need a warranty replacement and ETA is August, I just won't bother though, no point during the good weather months and also very busy with work and other things atm so won't get to use it much, by which time, Samsung and maybe some other brands will be out.....
It's a very good display, absolutely poos all over my lg 55" e7 oled. Clarity/sharpness really is very good and I found myself noticing more variety of colours, seeing more details etc. that I never seen before on either my previous ips 34" 1440 monitor nor my 55e7, perhaps due to various things i.e. better range of colours on show, sitting closer to the 34" than the 55" (7 feet viewing distance for it) and it not having a matte finish which smudges/hides detail e.g. in guardians of the galaxy, at this bit here, after the lighting strikes, you get like a shockwave, never noticed this before on my previous displays:

And little things like the rain/droplets hitting surface being more noticeable.
