World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

And enable Gsync in the nvidia control panel as it may be off by default. Also delete the icc colour profiel you /may/ have in display settings as it can mess with colour output in certain apps. It is not needed. SRGB mode in Creator is nigh on perfect for accurate viewing for normal use and media consumption.

Didn't get the parcel told Dell if doesn't arrive by tomorrow 7pm will cancel the order, I'm not being messed around by UPS they are scum have zero trust in them.

Will buy LG 42 inch C2 maybe or wait for something better.
I cancelled my order which due in October and bought the LG C2 42” and am loving it. UKHotdeals has a voucher for 10% of the C2 at the moment.

Yeah got amazing deal on a LG 77 inch C1 few weeks ago from Crampton & Moore no problems with super fast delivery.

My monitor is back at UPS Exeter depot so probably wont get it today maybe next month sometime when they feel like delivering it what a joke.
Will never buy anything from Dell again if they keep using UPS, still waiting for Dell to reply to my cancellation request can wait a few day's see what happens to the parcel.

I should receive my monitor today. Less than 3 weeks from order but I did use my neighbor's Dell business account so he might have had some priority on the order. Looking forward to re-playing Zero Dawn as it was the only game that actually benefitted from the awful HDR400 (fake) mode on my Dell 32" VA monitor I currently have.

Tried RE2 Remake with HDR1000 and whilst it is certainly better for black levels and dynamic range etc now, the framerate is still crap which reminded me the main reason I keep HDR off in this game, it's just optimised really poorly. RE7 on the other hand is stunning and remains above 100fps at all times so lord knows what Capcom have been doing to RE2 that results in ~30fps when HDR and RTX are enabled at the same time. Turn HDR off and it flies past 100fps so it's def a HDR implementation issue in this game.

Encountered my first issue.. monitor flickers but its not your usual superfast flick, this seems to turn off the monitor look for a signal for about 5s before reconnecting to the input. Only my PC was connected to it. Removed any other connections i had. Happens every couple minutes and does it randomly. Not sure why. If i connect my work laptop which is a HP Elitebook 830 G4, it's all fine.

Also have another thread over in the VR section which is a different issue but also relates to this monitor: https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/monitor-turns-off-when-starting-steamvr.18956133/

Any help appreciated

Work laptop works with the same cable? :)

Are you using the same cable between both laptop and PC? It sounds like a display issue with your GFX card if the same cable is being used and the laptop is fine. I would change the DisplayPort port you are using to one of the others on the GFX card as the port itself might be sketchy with this display attached.

Anyone done the panel refresh yet? Tempted to just do mine so the pop up stops coming up every time I wake up the screen.... Suppose I have probably used mine close to the hours it requires now tbf.

Yeah it took about 5 minutes.

Does anyone know if the standard warranty covers burn-in? My understanding is that it does so I didn't go for premium warranty (since I've never needed it in the past with Dell monitors).

Also, should you always leave the monitor 'on' (i.e never turn off the power button in the corner) so that it can do its refresh thing? It can't do it if the monitor is off - am I right in thinking this?

Panel refresh does not take 5 minutes ;)
