Anyone had any issues with the Dell Display Manager Application and it stopping windows from putting the monitor to sleep?

I feel like im missing something.

New menu ui too so my settings have reset, what's the recommended settings again? SRGB and 2.4 gamma with 75% contrast and roughly 40-50% brightness?

Also should eco be off or on now, I remember it affected the pixel refresh timer and also the fan in standby mode? But the monitor when waking up wasn't in srgb mode?

This is why I waited for you lot to do it first, to avoid a situation like this. I can tell you my settings later if you want? Your eyes will thank you for it

Nah I'll pass on your settings

WAIT WHAT!

I have not had notifications from the forums with this thread until TNA tagged me so I had no idea, this is BIG news.

Guess what I am doing in a min :p
I'll take your settings though :p

All updated, I'm gonna flick it over to 175Hz this time to see if VRR flicker is sorted in this update.

Settings are exactly the same as before, the UI seems the same for me, but I was on a recent firmware anyway so that might be why.

52 brightness, 68 contrast, I'm back on creator mode for some extended testing btw, so sRGB colour in Creator, gamma 2.4 in the OSD. You will need to re-enable DLDSR factors in NVCP as they reset, as well as flick it over to 144/175Hz as Windows drops it down to 60Hz after the update.

68 contrast looks wrong on my end, 75% is better

On mine 68 contrast on the lagom page block 254 is visible when squinting which is what it should be like, since 255 is pure white, so being able to discern the tiny difference between the two means all's good. At 75 you have to squint harder otherwise it looks the same as background white.

Don't need hardware tbh, just do it by eye, using the guides on pages like Lagom. Creator mode > SRGB > Gamma 2.4 and lower the contrast just slightly as the default 75 is a little too bright to my eyes (was the same on all 4 DWs I've had), then set brightness to whatever your preference is as it makes no difference to darkness performance etc. That is all you need to do really other than making sure Windows is using the correct refresh rate etc.
