Now why would you want that? Firmware control? If so you are about to get the latest firmware now anyway.

Also 1 less fan, better compatibility with my GPU, and so far the DW reliability hasn't been great :/

The OLED Black Depth Lie - When Panel Type and Coating Matters - TFTCentral

Testing and evaluating the perceived black depth and contrast on different OLED and LCD panels, in different lighting conditions. Does technology or panel coating really have an impact?

I can control lighting in my room so not a huge issue but am tempted now by second gen qd-oled!

Me too. But it will all depend on price. If it will be a 4 figure sum then they can stick it where the sun don't shine. Not paying that for a small upgrade.

I will just wait for an offer and make the move when it makes sense.

Nvm, working on second try.

Apparently lowered input lag and fixed a flickering issue but no mention of anything else.
