***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

The only raids i've done in the past have been through lfr, so how do i go about joining on normal difficulty?

Hopefully looking to do skymaul since my ilevel seems to at a fair level at the moment.

Since MoP I think but the expansions before that the raids weren't staggered. It just means less to do that's all. Everything is gated and I'm starting to see now why people who rushed through everything have nothing to do so have quit.

What do you mean not staggered?

ICC was a gated release with each wing being released 1 week after the next. That was 3 expansions ago now.

Obviously, I just thought they may have went back to non staggered after all the complaints MoP got for staggering them. It's not just raids that are gated this expansion though, pretty much everything is. Garrisons were a nice addition for acquiring stuff but the fact they've gated crafting on pretty much everything in WoD it's actually worse than before.

I just don't like the fact you pay a subscription but are essentially told what you should do with your time in game.

People actually commented that HoF and ToES in MoP came a bit too fast. So they are slowing it down.

I don't see a massive problem with gated content. There are around 17 raid bosses in this tier, plus 2 world bosses. Releasing all of it in 1 week is a bit much. Also, it helps keep the content alive a bit longer. When stuff gets released at once, people blast through it, and then get bored.

As for only worth running once a week: All the difficulties have seperate lock outs, so I don't see why you can't run Normal and Heroic in the same week (i.e. this week), for extra chances to get loot.

Yea. I don't really see the problem tbh.

You'd have to run the first few bosses for a few weeks to gear up for the next few anyway.

Is LFR also on a separate lock out?
I didn't realise normal/heroic were on different lock outs. That's quite cool.

Yes. LFR, Normal, Heroic, Mythic: each one is a seperate lockout. Mythic has unique shoulder and head art for tier pieces. LFR tier pieces are the same as Normal and above, and have totally different art.

Having a wonder what Add-ons people are using...

My current list:
AutoBar
AutoRepair
DBM
ElvUI
Handy Notes
Omen
Postal
Recount
SellJunk

I think that's it off the top of my head, not currently healing or I'd use Grid/Clique combo but I'm gonna try my hand at tanking this time round.
