***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

I used to play Alliance Silvermoon until a few years ago. I used to really enjoy the game back in the Burning Crusade days but the more recent expansions have been crap. Things became especially lame when they decided to add Panda's.

With the money Blizzard earn they really have no excuse for coming up with such garbage lol or recycling and using the same content time and time again.

Did you know that Pandaren have been in the lore for Warcraft since Warcraft III? Why was them adding a deep-seated race into the game lame? To be perfectly honest, I stopped playing the game after Cataclysm, but recently came back to it a few months ago and after playing the Pandaria content, I thoroughly enjoyed it all. The zones in Pandaria are nothing short of breathtaking, and the lore and story behind it all was really well done. I enjoyed it even more when I reached level 90 and then had the ability to fly around and actually look at everything in proper detail. Those little huts on the top of the high cliffs in the first area in Pandaria are so awesome!

Really looking forward to getting the expansion content started.
I really enjoyed pandaland and think over the past year blizzard have done a lot to improve the game greatly. Who cares if subs have gone down they still have way more subs than any other mmo so they mus still be doing something right.

Also i would like to add i love when people complain about the game not being the same as old and its now a grind fest of same dailies.. LOL when did this change its always been the same do people forget attunement or all those silly factions that were a daily dungeon grind to get rep for in the beloved TBC expansion they all so praise was the pinicple of wowness.

TBC was the pinnacle of WoW. Just because everything in the game is basically some form of grinding doesn't mean they're all equally enjoyable/boring.

Attunement quests were great, farming rep in dungeons was fun most of the time, daily quests (whether in TBC or any other expansion) are mostly boring, there's a reason why I never bothered doing the rep mounts in TBC.

How would a dungeon a month work gear wise? I can only ever see it having gear worse than or equal to what people already have meaning Blizzard would be spending a ton of money to create something that people go to once and then never go again. There's a reason why when they add new dungeons it's with a new raid tier so they can actually have loot in the new dungeon that's better than in previous dungeons.

And yes, Pandaria looks ****ing awesome, no idea why people complain about Pandas :(.

i dont mind an influx of dungeons to be honest it gives us more to look at, at the very least. Its not ideal but its better than nothing i suppose. And ive never had anything again farming or grinding rep to me its always been part in parcel with an mmo based game.

With regards to gear I would imagine they will offer a slight ilvl increase per monthly dungeon or they could introduce a gimic like first run of it gives you a pet or bonus vp or gold.

We will have to wait and see.

People must not forget that when WoW had 10m+ subs (8 years ago iirc) and the game has been out for 10 years, those kids that played at 15 years old are now 25 and peopably have jobs and/or family. Not everyone can spare the time to play and manage a family. People who were 25 at launch are now 35 years old.

Games evolve and people move on. Simple as that.

Also I am sure the release of the PS3 and Xbox 360 had en effect on subs too. They where released in c2005 iirc.. That's nearly 10 years ago.

I can't fault the game really. Yeah it has its grind but over all pretty much the best game out there right nowa nd I can see it becoming bigger still. They may need that little tiny thing to make it as big as it was a few years ago..

If you think about the 100+ million quid a month WoW generated at its peak when Blizzard had 12 million subscribers, it kinda puts into perspective how lame Blizzard are in terms of development. We could have had a new dungeon or raid every month and people would have kept playing. Instead Blizzard now find themselves clutching at straws adding things we asked for years ago in attempt to bring people back to the game. Too little to late.

The only time ive ever felt wow stagnate, is the current expac and thats cos we've been raiding SOO for over a year now, everyone else has been fine, a new dungeon a month would lower the value of the gear you get, and bearing in mind thats a very big part of wow, it wouldnt be better.

Its finding a balance they need to do.

Dragon Soul times were much more stagnant than this. I would say that was the lowest point the game has ever had.

quick question: if you have the Garrosh heirloom on one character, can you send it to another character (on same account) on another server? can you send it even if they are opposite factions..?

yup just send to Char name-Realm so Shakenbake-Draenor for example

Can be done with any boa's which is useful if you have a ton of timeless armour pieces :p

I agree with you but personally WotLK was when WoW at it's pinnacle, after that the subs started dropping or am I wrong?

nah, WotLK was when the AoE faceroll began :D

TBC was good bcos you actually had to use your brainz to progress.
you took CC to a 5-man dungeon (and actually used it) or you wiped.

Every expansion to date is now included in the base version of WoW, you'd only need to buy the standard WoW and then Warlords.

And as long as you pre-order from Blizz or get a pre-order pack from somewhere like cdkeys.com you'll get a free level 90 boost.

Normally I wouldn't recommend using the boost straight away if you haven't played WoW before but I think at the start of an expansion it's ok since you'll have the leveling time to learn the basics of the class.

If you do use the boost straight away obviously spend a bit of time looking at first person gameplay of the classes you're interested in since you'll only get one.

You could try some classes at low level, but honestly I don't know how well that represents actual play at max level.

on a boosted toon all your abilities dont come straight away either which is nice for new or returning players.

Abilities unlock over the first few quests to give you an idea of offensive, defensive, utility spells etc

No better time to join in the game than new expansion time, also as others have said theres a absolute TON of content before 90, even if its quests alone your probably talkin anything around 5000 quests.

Then you have all the old raids which while legacy are still fun to farm for transmog gear/pets etc.

Normally id advise finding a reroll guild so you can level up through the content but WOD is prob the most polished ive seen WOW and i say go for it :)

Always wanted to do the Onxiya raid on Vanilla. Finally got round to doing it on my Warr. Lol it lasted probably 3 minutes at the most. No mount drop, but it was fun to do.
