***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

Kazzak for Horde PvP, Draenor for Horde PvE.

Why anyone would want to play on a PvP realm these days is beyond me. Whenever I cross-realmed to a PvP server the Timeless Isle was just impossible.

Those are the best times, probably my two fondest wow memories are Southshore battles and the isle of gank (Isle of quel danas for newer players) where works fights were huge and really fun. Best for me was isle of
Gank where huge battles would brake out over control of the cliff path to the sunwell dungeon. No insta dungeon porting then so you had to fight up a cliff to gain control of the dungeon. My Boomkin mass pushback was amusingly effective on defence :D:D

Pvp servers add an edge of fun for me, though each to their own.

nah, WotLK was when the AoE faceroll began :D

TBC was good bcos you actually had to use your brainz to progress.
you took CC to a 5-man dungeon (and actually used it) or you wiped.

Hehe, no you didn't. In TBC a good Pally tank made CC obsolete. Even in Heroics. I played a Pally tank and was MT for my raiding guild. I tank everything apart from ROS in Black Temple. Even going back with my Pally in MOP I almost died solo'ing that fight. And one of the bosses in Hyjal Summit was a pain for a pally tank as well as you got silenced and couldn't keep up Holy Shield. Might of been Azgalor but could be wrong. This is going back a good 7-8 years (CRAZY to think how time flies :( )

The only time I ever remember having to use heavy CC was Delrissa in Magister's Terrace. What a pain that boss was.

But for a good Pally tank, any TBC heroic dungeon was a laugh without any CC.

Anyone know if you can get WoD in Game stores today? I preordered a Collectors Edition with them and it would be nice to be able to play at 11pm tonight!

Did you know that Pandaren have been in the lore for Warcraft since Warcraft III? Why was them adding a deep-seated race into the game lame? To be perfectly honest, I stopped playing the game after Cataclysm, but recently came back to it a few months ago and after playing the Pandaria content, I thoroughly enjoyed it all. The zones in Pandaria are nothing short of breathtaking, and the lore and story behind it all was really well done. I enjoyed it even more when I reached level 90 and then had the ability to fly around and actually look at everything in proper detail. Those little huts on the top of the high cliffs in the first area in Pandaria are so awesome!

I think the issue some people had is that historically, the Pandaran were a joke race, so basing an expansion round a comedy race branded the entire expansion as the joke expansion.

Personally this was by far my least favourite expansion lore wise, not because they based it off the Pandas, because they basically ripped off China to create their story/land. So as it was heavily influenced by a real place that I can actually go too it just seemed, not as not real, if that makes any sense.

You couldn't tank KT/Illidan with a Pala could you?

Wouldn't mind seeing SWP brought back considering that the majority of players never got to see it in the first place, they should make it an entry level fun raid so people can see it like they did with Naxx.

Didn't really think SWP was all that great to be honest. Felt just sort of thrown together as a gap filler after BT.

So I cant decide on which level 90 I will be going for in WoD I like both classes, I think I might just have to flip a coin and go with the one who wins!

Just solo em

It's not even close to being the same though is it. I.E the majority of the games best bosses for encounter design are in Naxx but nobody would know that running in and one shotting them.

Encounters like the Horsemen, Thaddius, Gothik, Heigan, KT, etc really show how lame some of the modern raid encounters are (I.E SoO).
