***World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor***

You can do 85 to 90 in about 5 hours. Such a waste of the boost.

That depends...

The boost costs £40 which saves you 5 hours worth of work... If you have a job that pays more than £8 an hour then you are better working your job and paying for it. There are other things that should be taken into account also... family time etc...

Obviously it is not as beneficial as using it on a lvl 1 character. One thing I would say to the person opting for this... make sure you have the professions you want for WoD before you boost so they get to max level :)

Good points. But ye, I've always played lock. R1 arena , most seasons, bgs , high end raids (rarely). And now I have family commitments where as before I didn't. This is definately not going to change.

Hmm...I've read that if you lvl is below 60, professions won't be boosted...not true?

Probably won't touch this til the weekend at the earliest as I'd only be able to manage a few hours on Thursday night at best due to other commitments. This will be the first launch I've not tried on the night of release!

I'll manage a few hours tonight and tomorrow night. But after work on Friday I have 9 days off :D

Major farming to do next week (and a bit of golf weather dependant)!

They have but I have not seen (I haven't really looked) at how they have done this short of them saying that crafting items will actually be useful again and that they are doing away with crafting say 15 items just to sell them to the vendor as it makes the crafting process a chore rather than useful.

An interesting discussion is happening on some forums about "Timewalking", basically blizzards version of scaling old content to level 100. Its been spoke about a lot and with the Molten Core release as the public test of the system, i feel we'll be getting this feature pretty soon.

Can't decide whether to use my boost on my main alt, a level 80 hunter or level him the hard way and boost my shadow priest that is sulking down at level 30. Seems a waste to use it on an 80 but levelling is my least favourite part of the game nowadays, it's more like a chore you have to do to get to the fun stuff!

I got a month off in December so I'll make progress then. Not really bothered about being there right on launch and the inevitable slaughter that will commence.
