Who cares what platform games run on?

I just want to play the games that I want to play. Bought a PS3 previously to play GT3 (as an example).

I'm presently focusing on ED after a 5 year run on WOT. Neither version is as good on a console as on a PC.

Don't get me wrong, if the console versions were consistently better, I'd happily use a console.

No as my PC isn't just for gaming, when I had a console I found myself on the PC more anyway.

I don't miss screaming kids on xbox live either.

I can't think of anything, PC gaming is far superior. That wouldn't stop me buying an xbox though if the mood took me.

PC gaming is not as fun as it once was.

Its now 100% cash cow for everything there are very few games out there which still have the love of the devs to keep it going.

This is just completely untrue. You are either ultra picky or just aren't looking that hard.

Would you consider dropping £500 on the new PS4 OR Xbox and give up on PC gaming. I'm not suggesting throwing your PC in the bin, just not playing games on it.

I buy the PSX when a new Gran Turismo comes out, beyond that it's a blu ray player.

95% of games that I play use a mouse.

No, £500 is 3/4 of a decent system that will outperform a console tenfold. Over the next few years until the new console comes out or the PC needs an upgrade, for every £50 you spend on console gaming, you'd spend £25 on PC.

Why on Earth would somebody ditch PC gaming just for consoles? If you had to have one, and wanted the relaxed comfortable gaming of a console, then hook your PC up to your TV, enjoy the bigger screen and triple the FPS/graphical quality.

I feel like people who choose to play console over PC are misinformed, consoles literally have no advantage in the market. The only thing they are good for is exclusives, which isn't exactly a selling point as they are a fairly unhealthy practice for gaming as a whole.

hardly play on my ps4 anymore since upgraded PC, games are way to over priced on their stores for not actually owning physical products anymore for consoles compared to cdkey sites and pc games with constant sales or pre-orders, also g-sync monitor with 144refresh sorts any framerate or v-sync issue's on all my pc games.

Definitely don't think I could do it. Purchased a PS4 recently for Uncharted 4 and although I'm loving it, I still tend to go back to my PC most of the time.

The only thing that would ever make me consider that is the fact our PC games keep getting nerfed to make the consoles look more appealing and closer in performance to the PC that's just not accurate yet we are the ones being penalised. Utter bs in my opinion.

Building PCs has been a hobby of mine since I left primary school so I don't see myself turning my back because I still love it to this day. Though I will still own consoles for their exclusive games as I like the restof you am a gamer at heart and will get my fix of a great game no matter the platform I will just opt for the PC when possible.
