X1900 ... what is known ?

So the x1900xtx cards are gonna be around the £500 pound mark as per what Gibbo was hinting at, but what are the likely prices of the x1900xt? And I assume x1800 prices will stay much the same for like 1month after the x1900s come out?

HI there

X1800's are currently £275 - £330 +VAT region. Expect X1900 series to start from higher prices than this.
The card we have just put through its paces was an X1900 XT-X and were impressed. :)
The fact ATI are bringing us samples to play with is an extremely good signs of that there will be no delays on shipping product so there will be plenty of stock from day of launch. :)

Good stuff, still think ATI should have scrapped he X1800 and got the X1900 out, with the X1800 filling the high mid-end.

Hopefully no more delays and lies fro ATI.

X1900 will go well, stock is arriving in our warehouse next week ready for launch day. :)

Gibbo please can you confirm @ this stage if you will be stocking the XTX version on launch day as I am waiting to order a new mb,ram + gfx card from you and would rather go for the X1900XTX if it is indeed a lot better than the 7800GTX512 restocks around the same time.

We shall have both versions in ample supply for launch day from Sapphire, Powercolor and HIS. :)

From a business point of view, that would be a very very stupid thing to do.

Gibbo.... which version sof the 1900 will u have for lunch day - just the XTX or the XT as well?

Well, it looks like nVidia and ATI have swapped roles. ATI with lots of product available at launch day and nVidia with a high end part that no-one's been able to buy for 6 weeks now...! :o

Simon.

Great looking forward to ordering one. Which of these brands would be best or is that still under NDA.

well i'd assume since Gibbo only has one he couldnt tell you.
I would however say that if the past is anything to go by they will all be exactly the same with the exception of the cooler.

Am thinking of selling my two 7800gtx and going with a single X1900XT-X..

Gibbo
Are you allow to say how loud the fan is on these or if they exhaust the heat out the rear the case..

They are all built by ATI so all partners are identical except for bundles! They are still using the same blower fans as X1800's so loud on startup but pretty quiet when running. :)
However the cards run very cool, no longer hot at all. :)

If you trust these results then X1900XT (not XTX) 11144 3dmark05 on FX60 all stock. Or 12152 @ 715/855Mhz. Wonder what the XTX would score?

Quite impressed by those gains from the ATi dual core drivers. I would guess on an FX-60, an XTX would score about 11600. I wonder how many extra points you would get with an 2.8GHz X2. I still would have prefered another 1k on those results btw ;)

hey gibbo how are the drivers with the card?
also do you think the x1800xt prices will go plummit as a result of the new x1900's?
Lastly are you allowed to share with us temperatures. (not numbers just a its colder and quieter than the x1800's)

Well, the stock voltage on the x1900xt is 1.2v compared to 1.35?v on the x1800xt, so you can make a fair assumption that if ATi are using the same cooler then the fan speed can be reduced.
