Just picked up X3 Reunion, as an X2 graduate is there anything I should know that's been changed noticably?

Awesome game, but when i tried playing again from my save (30hrs+) its unplayable, huge stutter :/ shame really

That will be a problem on your end, I have a save for almost 300 hours and it works as well as a fresh game.

Do you have the latest patch?

as luck would have it ive just started a new game to try yet another approach to the hub plot, the month should fly by for me then

Yeh hence me mentioning the date.

No chance of it being an MMO, too much money to make, and too small team. They would also lose the two of the things that make the game great, community and modifications IMO.

just started playing, done the (very quick and not very informative) tutorial and hes just kind of left me in the middle of space no idea what to do

where can i find missions and what else is there to do?

Started in argon prime, think the start i did was nostalgic argon, im just flying about docking at stations and looking for something to do.

Also my ctrl d never works for auto docking, always says too close to station even when im miles away.

Good, keep reading the guides, soon you will be a master.
My first gane, I have 296 hours invested now, haven't played in weeks, but thats due to other commitments, will enjoy returning.

Shame it isn't an MMO, or co-op

Im a bit lost, ive got the basics of the game down and moving about/transporting to other areas etc fine. But do i just go around looking for missions? i understand its a sandbox game but would like a little guidance where to start

Also trading/mining both look interesting, but again, no idea where to start

will read some guides.

Are you playing vanilla or the x-tended mod?
In the vanilla, stacks of the stations should have coloured icons, each equating to a different type of mission.
If you mean storyline then certain criteria have to be met before you are offered them.
Missions are accessed by the communications option with the station and talking to people with the icons beisde them.

If you are playing x-tended, then I believe many less missions are available, but haven't played it yet to actually know.

once you've got a spare C19,000, invest in a docking computer, makes life so much easier.
