XBOX Gamepass Ultimate conversion is back for £1

The prices vary - you just have to keep an eye out for them. I upgraded to GPU approx. a year ago and it cost me ~ £30 per year for UK/EU codes plus the £1 for converting from gold to ultimate. About a week later I noticed there were codes ( for Turkey, so would need to use VPN trick to get round it ) going for ~£20 per year.
 
Yeah, from what ive read you need to be out of contract/sub. If you have it actively running, the conversion isnt favourable, like a 12mo Gold converts as 6mo GPU or whatever it would be, whereas you get 1:1 if you have upto 3yr of 'gold' and buy 1mo GPU to convert them.

~£5/3mo Turkey via CDK seems to be the cheapest i can find, but is out of stock currently.
~£25/12mo Turkey via Gamivo (£26 via Eneba) is another option. Elsewhere the prices dont seem that great.
Those last 2 have discount codes for a further 8 & 10% off, too. Not sure about CDK.
 
So my subsciption lapsed 2 days ago,

Then I hopped over to South Africa to buy 36 months Gold membership for just shy of £81

Do I just need to hope the £1 upgrade offer appears for me? The current offer on the dashboard on my PC is £1 for a month and then £7.99 for each month after that (Or £10.99 for Ultimate)

To clarify:

1) you did 2-3 years of XBL converted to GPU for £1
2) now your sub elapsed
3) you did the exact same steps as 1) and got offered it for £1

In the past some people said the second time you use this method you get offered 12.99 or whatever your local GPU price is. It's still a bargain to upgrade 3 years XBL to GPU for £1 or £12.99 I'm just trying to clarify more than anything.

Awesome, going to buy a UK version this time then as last time was stressful. I think £40 seems the cheapest a year?

Could someone please let me know the cheapest/best offer available at the moment for Gamepass that covers both an X Box Series X and a Gaming PC. Preferably without using VPNs etc.

You know as I re-read that sentence I have never felt so old in my entire life. Jesus wept.

You can get a 12 month Xbox Live Gold membership ( for EU & UK region ) for £38.99 from CDkeys. Get 3 of them ( for 36 months total ) then upgrade by buying one month of Game Pass Ultimate direct from the Microsoft store, or if you've never had Game pass before you might be able to buy that month for a special one-off price of £1. If you are prepared to do the VPN thing then you can get the 12 month Xbox Live gold membership for as low as £26.50 ( for Turkey ) - that works out at approx £80 vs £120 for not wanting to do the VPN thing.

DO this, VPN nearly backfired for me.

Xbox site kept insisting the key was in the wrong region, so I had to buy one month ultimate for the same region and apply that for it to convert.

Fair play to Microsoft, I phoned up and the guy clearly knew what I'd done and told me to do this to get round it.
