Does this work if wanting the Family Share version?

I have two children each child has own PC plus an XB with myself on PC making it 5 devices.

The whole MS system feels confusing so it should be setup.
 
Any good deals to extend GPU at the moment? Mine is up for renewal in a year, not sure whether to try to extend it now, or whether to wait a year and risk prices having gone up.

The best deals are always when your subscription has totally run out. Topping up prior to that is never as cost effective.

That's always a concern, but I don't think it's likely for a while yet. Game Pass is simply too lucrative for Microsoft. Perhaps their strategy will change once their game studios start producing multiple AAA exclusives on a regular basis.
 
Gonna go for this and also collect a Series X within the next week or two. Is there a way to see if you have any previous Xbox Live Gold on the account? And am I right in thinking the £1 for Ultimate Game pass for 1 month will cover the full 3 years of XBL gold codes I'll buy, but it won't auto-renew monthly? Or do I need to buy the £1 month, and then cancel the auto renew?

Waiting on Quidco hopefully sorting some cashback from 2 years ago (£28 worth for Fifa 21 from GAME) but even if not, with an 8% Currys gift card bonus I'll be getting a gift card of just shy of £380, so £70 for a brand new series X sounds good in my book!

Yes, when you buy the 1 month of Game Pass Ultimate it will convert all 36 months of Xbox Live Gold. On completion go into your account settings and deselect auto-renew ( which is on by default ) so you don't pay full fare when your 3 years is up.

I've been on £10.99/month UGP for a while now. Just cancelled my autorenew. That ends on 20th Jan this year. I'll buy 3 x 12month UK (I cba with VPN etc) from CDKeys Xbox gold. Do I add them to the account now or on 21st Jan? I assume it's ok to buy now, I don't have to wait untill the 21st to buy?

After that i'm unsurew how to get the £1 offer. Is there a shared link or will it be in my account to click to activate?

Wait until your current subscription has finished. Once you've stacked up the 3 x 12 month Xbox Gold Live keys you'll then need to buy 1 month of UGP to upgrade the Xbox Gold Live to UGP.

You should be able to convert Live to GPU under your current subscription. When you redeem the voucher code it will let you know how many days you'll receive. From what I understand 3 month XBL has best conversion rate.

Edit: However, I think if you have 3 years of XBL you can convert to GPU on a 1:1 for £10.99.

Yes, but it's not a very cost-effective method as the conversion rate isn't that great. The best way is to let membership lapse then do the 3 x 12 month XBGL followed by 1 month of UGP.
