Got 9.5 in the end. Had a bit of time left but was happy with that.

Bravo. Now I get to go back to PS4. I left Dragon Age Inquisition right in the middle and need to finish it off.

Skyrim is a weird one for me. Despite owning the latest edition with all the DLC, whenever I play it I end up just doing the main storyline. I bet I haven't even explored half of what there is to see.

Would it be terrible games running off a 4TB Seagate extenal HDD?

I already do this, I don't feel like I'm sitting twiddling my thumbs waiting for things to load.

Edit: nvm, Sky Hub had the 4th light as orange/amber which was stopping the login but had no effect on the rest of my connection, weird.

It seems to happen rather a lot with Sky. The link is up but the authentication part doesn't work so you are stuck.

Looking forward to trying out the Series X streaming. You can see how painfully slow Xbox One games load compared to my Series S now.

Day One Game Pass is the new "World Exclusive" except 10x better. So many of these I'm really looking forward to trying out.

Really enjoyed that. There were only a couple of things where interested waned but it was pretty much top drawer all the way.

Great showing that. Anyone that buys a ps5 over a series x with with what gamepass offers needs their head examined slightly.

After seeing all that, I'm now feeling quite calm about not having a PS5. It can wait.

Now the fun part, getting a hold of a Series X in time for Forza coming out...

I think Xbox will be OK by then. The Series S stays in stock for ages now.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is getting a 4K60 XSX upgrade on July 6th. Excellent.

Is this game any good? strangely I've managed to completely miss it, never heard of it. Looks good graphically.

Absolutely. I thought it would be rubbish as the leads are a couple of brats but no, it's excellent. Easily top 10 for Xbox One generation.

Are saved games compatible between old and updated games on Games Pass? I'm thinking specifically will my existing Plague Tale save be compatible with the new 60fps version?

Yup, the save game problems only seem to affect PlayStation.

I've been a PC player for years, (my last console was a sega saturn... yeah old but gold)
I'm really interested in buying an Xbox. Would SERIES X be a good option?

Not if you've already got a decent PC. All Microsoft's Xbox Game Studios games will be coming to Steam/Windows Store (Game Pass). So the better complementary device would be a PS5. But if you want an Xbox, then yes Series X is the best Xbox to have.

Did anyone order a new Series controller from the XBox Design Lab yet? Just wondering if they come with the grippy/textured back like the standard models included with the consoles do?

The controller is the biggest disappointment for me, I don't like the textured back and I've never had a d-pad that is so loud. Going to look for a decent third party alternative.

I love the back, it's the best feeling I've had from a controller (not tried DualSense yet) which is why I wanted to make sure the Design Labs came with the same textured back before I got one.
