Anyone playing Gunk on gamepass? Not usually my sort of game but quite enjoying it.

Yeah, I'm 50/50 with it at the moment. It started off intriguing but it's getting a bit boring now. Certainly not a patch on their Steamworld games.

I'm a little confused about a couple of the upgrades. +1 to HP and alien parts restore HP. I've been hit a couple of times by gunk creeps but I can't see a HP bar or any indication that it's possible to die.

Well I’ve died a fair bit. The screen starts turning red at the edge like Gears of War. You’ll definitely know when you’re on your last legs.

Rainbow 6 extraction is on Gamepass from 20/01

And Ubisoft+ is coming at some point to XBox as well.

still going to be £13 a month like it is on PC? Doubt it will be included like EA access is with ultimate as thats what a couple of quid a month

Yeah unfortunately it will be a separate sub but maybe it will be shared with PC as well.

Quite enjoying Gunk now.

Yeah, it definitely got better towards the end. I ended up thinking it was a good experience after all.

What are you switchers doing about your existing game libraries though? Are they games you wouldn't play again or are you rebuying them on the new platform(s)? I have far too many Steam games to ditch my PC, it would cost me an arm and a leg to rebuy them.

1TB Expansion cards are currently £194.99 on the Xbox store.

I only checked as i had just got to the 260k ish MS reward points needed to get a free one at full price. Now i have a spare £25 of points to go towards whatever i aim for next.

Congrats! Did it take two years to get that many?

Good god. What a ripoff!

Last year, I played in an Xbox Fanfest quiz for the 20th anniversary and won 35 bucks in gift cards for the official Xbox gear shop. The T-shirt I wanted was out of stock until today. It cost £20. Bought it and it cost me £8. £16 in flipping shipping and taxes!!!!!!

There is zero chance that if they deal were to go through that MS would halt sales of COD on Playstation as an example.

Yeah, I was thinking that but "lesser" titles like Diablo might become Game Pass exclusives. Maybe even Overwatch 2.

Yeah, but with my reward points, I might as well use them, I can get a load of 3 month gold codes to get to 2 years with the amount of points I have, then I only need to spend about £50 altogether for another gold code and the ultimate upgrade.
Just hope this is still a workable method by July.

What about spending the reward points on the SSD for your Xbox? Or have you already got that?

Do we have to wait until that long for the A-B library to be on Game Pass? That seems so far away.

Hmm, seems a bit weird with the "whole" Hitman trilogy on Game Pass that they haven't included two levels from Hitman 2 - the bank and the tropical island. So you miss out on that.

Cyberpunk X/S version apparently incoming. Hopefully I finally get to experience the game in the way they intended it.

Fingers crossed it will be a Game Pass title. All will be revealed tomorrow.

My Game Pass Ultimate is running out soon, I honestly can't think of a need to renew it right now. Is there really nothing spectacular coming until Starfield in November?

Just make sure what ever you buy is out by the time your points expire (or you are paying the full amount from your balance).

Learnt this the hard way - preordered Elden Ring using my MS balance £49.51 and had to add the 48p from a card. The balance expired before they billed me the 48p so they charged the full whack to my card and I lost the £49.51

Guardians of the Galaxy is really one I'm looking forward to. There's so many things on GP that I need to play but can't seem to find the motivation.

When I owned both ps4 and xbox 1, either would gather dust for long periods and I hated that fact.

My Series S is only switched on for 5 minutes each day to fulfil the Rewards quests. It's a bit nuts as I seem to play all the Game Pass titles through the Cloud now. I would sell it but I doubt I'd get much for it.
