Do you play for 15 hours a day? 6 months is nothing if you're a light user 2-3 hours a day.

Come back in 1 year/year and a half. If you're gaming on it for 15 hours a day and say the same thing.
I play around 5-6 hrs a day on my tv and my missus thinks I’m a hardcore gamer lol.

I couldn't imagine playing for 15hrs a day, that’s unbelievably reckless, in that you wouldn’t have time for anything else but games lol. I cannot imagine someone’s mental health being well after being stuck behind a screen and games for that period of time.
Like I said I play for about 6 hrs a day and that’s a killer for me. In fact I’m now cutting it down to a couple of hrs per day. The whole Covid pandemic hasn’t helped I guess with people, such as me, working from home these days.

with a 4k screen will it good enough?
The console itself is more than capable, the problem is that it gets the Xbox One OG/S versions of Xbox One games and not the Xbox One X version which can mean they look a blurry mess on a big 4K T.V.

That’s the only downside but then of course more than half the Xbox One library (guessing) will not have X enhancements so won’t look any better on XSX either. I don’t regret buying my XSS one bit but I feel like I’m missing out and will need to get XSX at some point.

120hz is a far bigger upgrade than 1080p to 4K and the S supports that on the same games that the X does.

At normal viewing distances the human eye can’t physically resolve the difference between 1440p and 2260p (4K), but the S is missing some features such as ray tracing in some games and others such as the medium have sub 1080p resolution on the S.

The biggest issue with the S is you’re missing out on the One X upgrades on some older games as it runs the One S versions of games.

The back compatible games on Series S still have upgrades though. Such as the higher res and higher fram rates that they get on the X as well.

Looks like you got a returned console.

I hope not !!
Talking to Microsoft to get a HDMI cable and I’ll be looking closely at fingerprints or anything tampered with. Only opened it 2 hours ago so still in wrapping got it about 10 days ago. Joke to be honest after waiting so long and it’s an expensive cable too
