They're not live yet unfortunately I tried FO4 earlier but it wasn't enabled so it'll probably be sometime tonight! According to that article, with it enabled on Fallout 4, the resolution drops to support it properly which is a shame but nevermind, it'll be nice to have 60fps in Fallout 4!

You wouldn’t have thought it would need to drop too often, but then I guess it depends how well it uses the hardware on offer.

I have been playing gears 5 MP never played a gears game or third person shooter, can't decided if like it or not! The voices are a bit lame and some maps just look out of place!

Indeed, probably aiming for a certain number of subscribers. Not sure they’ll do it sharply, probably more akin to Netflix type increases. Small increases, test the waters before doing it again.

My headphones came today but tbh after using my Bose set these sound awful. It’s nice they connect direct to the console but the sound is really not very good. I’m no audiophile but even my freebie Lenovo ones plugged into the controller sound a lot better. I’m going to return them and stick with what I have.

Not saying it's a bad thing if the quality is there, Netflix qualify has gone down not up lol

Yeah the Bose are fantastic tbh I got them on the MM for a good price. Only problem is when connected to the tv with Bluetooth you get a bit of a delay. Was hoping the MS ones would be perfect for gaming but they really do sound pretty awful even after tweaking the settings. They sound really muddled it’s like they are struggling to make the sounds if that makes sense.

They don't even need to raise the price. I doubt there will be as many subscribers if they ever charge the "real" price of 10.99 a month. I suspect a large amount of people use the option to convert live into game pass for peanuts!

With the price of Xbox live as well it would be approaching 13.99 a month at normal prices which is expensive for a lot of people on top of many existing digital subs they may have.

Being a new Xbox user I'm currently enjoying the Ultimate package for a quid but I'm not looking forward to reverting to £10.99 p/m when it ends - I've read bits and bobs about converting a standard membership to Ultimate but not sure if this is still a thing??

Can anyone walk me through the most cost effective way of sorting my subscription??

Option 1:
Let Game Pass expire, buy 3 years (max) worth of Live Gold, buy 1 month of Game Pass to convert Gold to Game Pass Ultimate

Option 2:
Buy 1 year EA Access codes. Each one will convert to 4 months of Game Pass Ultimate even if you currently have an active subscription to Game Pass Ultimate.

Yeah, experiencing the same things. I play a lot of Cold War and the gunshots and explosions sound terrible. I've switched back to my Turtle Beach 700 Gen 2's and its like night and day. I'll give it a few days to see if theres any firmware improvements but looks like they might be going back. Shame as I was hoping they would be good.

I'll give it a few days to see if theres any firmware improvements but looks like they might be going back. Shame as I was hoping they would be good.

Little disappointing if i'm honest, have the TB 700 Gen 2's and was gonna get these to go alongside them but don't think I will now.

I can’t recommend them over the TB 700 Gen 2’s. It’s weird, there’s so many glowing reviews of the new Xbox headset but I’m quite disappointed with them

Thanks mate. I have my Sony XM3 connected to the TV via BT so will be able to compare them side by side. If it’s a really big downgrade, I’ll just take them back.
