Exactly! I've got the Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Persona 5 to finish off, and still really need to play through Nier before ditching the PS4. Really just want an XSX for Flight Simulator as a change of pace
 
I just sold my PS5 as there is just nothing much to play. I cannot stand Souls games or anything with a die start again format. I played through what I wanted and with nothing much out or coming out this year I sold it. Xbox on the other hand I have more than I have time to play although I do also just end up playing flight sim most of the time…..

A friend picked up a PS5 on the weekend, I said to him we can now play together online and he asked me "what do you want to play?"

I had to think..."errrr Rocket League?"

We both have a PS4 too...

This is the thing - my own opinion (and it is wholly subjective) is that Sony had such good exclusives last time around that the PS4 was the way to go. This time, I want an Xbox for 2-3 years to use with Gamepass while Sony gets its act together
 
You are right, the table have turned massively. You can actually tell if you listen to IGN podcasts on each respective consoles as the hosts have to come up with topics on what to focus on. You can see they struggle when the future releases are thin on the ground. It happened with the Wii U before Switch, and XBox side before the Series X.

There is only so much you can talk about Returnal and Ratchet and Clank after 3 months/12 episodes.

its unreal after all this time, i remember always being able to walk into any highsteet Woolworths or Curries and consoles were literally never out of stock ever.

I was working in Game when they released the crystal version of the original Xbox and that vanished almost immediately. But it was very limited in numbers. I think what we're seeing is just how mainstream gaming is now

Think I may have bagged one from Currys! Checkout failed when I tried for delivery but click and collect seems to have worked, although I'm still awaiting a confirmation email...

Edit: hmm, so I got three emails. The first confirmed the order, the second said that they'd be delivering to store later than initially indicated (which was Wednesday), the third was a receipt confirming delivery on Wednesday. Not sure when that means I'll be getting it!

Lucky, I just missed out of it due to bad wifi signal when progressing through payment!
