Not really feeling Deathloop, don't feel any need to explore and just complete the main objectives which seem really shallow and short. Enemies are thick and gunplay is pretty bad. Maybe I'm getting old and hard to please but I've recently replayed Bioshock 1 and 2, they are ancient and apart from the graphics they are better in every way.

Forgot to mention I loved the Dishonered games too

Playing AC Odyssey thanks Gamepass, £1 for 3 years is still delivering :) I'm really enjoying the game, what a gorgeous world also, looks blinking incredible on OLED.

Looking forward to Grounded full release on the 27th Sept too.

Same here but I’ve just done the first full day and got a bit more freedom now. I’m intrigued by it so will stick with it. I think it was just overwhelming at the beginning as I didn’t have a clue what was going on and I typically don’t like games like that.

Deathloop gets miles better when you have killed a couple of Visionary’s. I really did not like it at first and shelved it for months before giving it a better go. It’s easily one of my all time favourites now having finished it. I’m looking forward to doing it again on Xbox with a decent controller.

Odyssey looks fantastic on an OLED.

It gets slammed on here for being all eye-candy and a no-depth repetitive grind, but it's a gorgeous grind!

Getting gamepass notifications still on phone, but its quite spammy, all marketing stuff. I am guessing though if I try and trim it down I would lose the "leaving soon" so kind of forced to accept marketing to get those.

Deathloop is kind of interesting in how they've tried to port across some semblance of the DualSense haptics. I've never experienced the ever so light tip-taps of your footsteps on an Xbox controller before.

Can anyone recommend some games? I've been out of the loop game-wise for a long time.

I like RPGs and other open-world games.
How long? If we're talking 5 years then you're in for a treat. Red Dead Redemption 2 if you want to jump right to the pinnacle of open-world RPGs.

Yeah, it must be something like 3 or 4 years. I'll check out Red Dead Redemption 2. I haven't played any console games since the Xbox Series X was released, probably a year or two before that.

Another vote for RDR2 such a stunning game.

I think I'm on my 4th or 5th playthrough and still finding new things I've not seen before.
