Yeah wish I never though....

Heheh, I just tried it myself. Seems more of the same as the original (which I loved) but the graphics look way ropey for a Series X game. With it being early access, I'll just wait until it gets a 1.0 release before I play any more.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm new to the Xbox store. I downloaded Elder Scrolls Online via ultimate game pass since I used to play ESO on the PC before I switched to Mac. Do I need to purchase the High Isle expansion in the Xbox store? I'm not sure if it is only the base game or not.

Normally on Gamepass it only includes the base game

It's also worth checking if there is anything free for ESO in the GamePass Perks section.

I ended up buying an Elite Controller 2 Core which arrived yesterday, all the buttons work properly, so they either fixed quality control or i was just lucky with this one. Unlike the Elite 2 i returned earlier in the year.

I've still go the paddles from my old Elite Controller 1 which i've been using on it.

Does anyone have a 32" (or bigger) monitor or TV they could recommend for use with a Series S?

It's to go in my kids room, the main standout seems to be the Samsung Odyssey G7 but I don't think a curved screen would be suitable for them.

Budget is up to around £400.

Upgraded my Series S to an X last night. Had some MS Reward Credit to use up, sold my Series S, total upgrade cost is £150 so happy days.

And it feels such a better experience now that you can take advantage of 4K, ray tracing and the Xbox One X enhanced versions of games. So glad I did the same.

My Series X struggles in Slime Rancher 2, in the first the reproduction of chickens was always a bit slow for the demand of the slimes and I had to have 2 coups and the rest of the area free range to keep up the demand of 3 types of slime. Did the same in SR2 and came back to the area completely flooded in chickens, 30+ in each coup and the entire floor filled with free range. There's clearly something in the bird food in SR2 compared to SR1.

Also disappointed there's no drone setup yet, I free-ranged a couple of areas hoping to use drones and collecting plorts is a challenge.

Don't think I'm that far in at all, but absolutely loving Deathloop; I generally like to be quite linear and I'm sure a path of some sort will follow, but having the freedom to do certain things between loops whilst areas change is wonderfully satisfying

Are there any Xbox Series X games that run at 4k 120fps, or is that just a marketing gimmick? I'm just wondering if a cheaper 4k 60Hz TV is the way to go or if I should stick to my current 1080p 60Hz TV or go all in and get a 4k 120Hz TV.

Wish i read this thread before i just splashed £50 on a game that was series x/s. I thought xbox one s was the same as series s :(

Now have a game redemed in my library that is incompatible.
I assume that's £50 down the bog?

Thanks for that, ill see if microsoft support can either downgrade it to a normal xbox version or unassociate it with my account, could be a cheap key on MM soon if they could do that!

/edit MS wouldn't do anything about it as it wasn't bought from them :(
