did anyone watch the showcase? just gone back to read a typed blog as it was live and there seems to be allot of 'coming 2024' games and nothing really concrete (de ja vou)

*edit*
Starfield - Sept 2023
fable - no release date
Star Wars outlaws - 2024
Hellblade 2 - 2024
flight sim 2024 - 2024
Avowed - 2024
Forza Motorsport - Oct 2023

Disappointing but totally unsurprising.

The Starfield deep dive was very impressive but it seems that there is so much going on, there's going to be an awful lot of bugfixing after release. Disappointed there was nothing from Gears.

Starfield and Forza should keep me going.

For a mode that very few players will be able to use? It everyone had an OLED with the capability of displaying 40/120 you know
I don't buy that, which is good since the devs aren’t selling it anyways (:

BUT adding some additional engineering cycles to allow their games to look and play the best they can on modern TVs / consoles would seem a no brainer considering that most of the heavy lifting takes place to support the PC platforms. I can forgive the smaller or independent studios but for a MS first party studio on an MS flagship console which supports these modes etc. Come on eh.

I just think it's laziness. Modern TVs support these features. The flagship console supports these features and nearly 3 years in to the life-cycle of the blimmin thing you would have hoped by now there would have been a proper showcase game (excluding Flight Simulator) for the thing.

I just think a lot of Xbox players are just so desparate for a decent exclusive that they will buy Starfield just because, but last i looked Sci-Fi RPG is a pretty niche genre and i think a lot of people will get bored quick, or am i wrong? Also the character models looked so bad, like no emotions and plastic skin.
