Just got a Series X after being a PS5 user for a few years. Any exclusives really worth playing that I may have missed? Old or new.

Ori games, Flight sim, Forza Horizon, Tell Me Why.

Not exclusive but Still Wakes the Deep is coming very soon, not sure what it will be like though, it will be on gamepass, so I would recommend subbing to gp ultimate to play all these games.

I loved my Series S, great little game pass machine. Tiny and ran quiet, it's specs did need bumping up though IMO, it should have been able to play Xbox One X versions of games in back compatibility, not the old original Xbox One version.

Not read through the whole thread so apologies if its been mentioned. Valorant is coming to console on Friday if anyone is bothered. Crossplay between consoles only and controller only.

It is to an extent especially the CPU, which is way more capable, the GPU has more features on the SS but it’s down on the One X in terms of TF capability (4 TFLOPS vs 6).

The SS has 2GB less ram as well.

Consequently (or for commercial reasons) Microsoft locked the SS out from being able to play the higher fidelity backwards compatible titles. Which was a real shame.

The Series S really isn't much of an upgrade to the One X. It's the Series X that is the proper upgrade.

I enjoyed Starfield….

I started this the other day, I never finished it at launch, waited for more patches and Im really enjoying it so far, with bug fixes and the recent performance patch its a lot better.

I got around 60 hours into Starfield before I stopped. I did really enjoy some of the missions and space dog fights but I got tired of always being overweight and messing around with traders to try and get some money to buy more useful items.

Agree show case was good, actually some.good games on the horizon that I would like to play.

About time to aswell tbh.

From what I've been reading the actual release dates are pending the release date of GTA 6. Then they want to stagger releases to give the games a chance at success

Yeah, hopefully Xbox will have a late gen surge on awesome games.

XB is dead.

Console only games people will just get on PS and the other titles will be available on PC so no reason to even bother with XB.

MS showed again they dont have a clue with hardware this was a chance to show some intent drop the S and have only X in a disc version £399 plus digital one £299-319.

Why would they drop the S when it outsells the X, that would make no sense.

But as there's so many out there they would still be actively developing for it. So stopping the sales would be pointless.

Noob Q. Am I right in thinking joysticks and yokes will work on both xbox and PC? So if I bought a TB velocity from marketplace I can use it on either?

If it's possible,I would play Forza Horizon (the first one on XBOX 360) That's one of my favourite games ever. I tried it on a whim and fell in love with it. The soundtrack is fantastic as well. I know they did a 4k remaster on Xbox One X (Jesus) so it might be playable on your Xbox Series X........... or something. Or just play it on a 360. It looks great on there.
