Mine and has just arrived. No damage and no dead pixels. Mine has buttons on the bottom lip and out the box is perfectly set up...

The quality of the screen is stunning to say the least. I will write up a bit more once I have installed properly but my god the picture is out of this world.......

so you could potentially lose £200 (£100 customs charges, £100 send it back)

this is becoming more and more of a risk imo :(

ya da$% - 100 to send it back; Im sort of regretting my purchase and ya
-100 would be a stiff penalty. Prob sell it for a decent price if need be then just to send it back (thats if you got a good one; but if its a broken one then well ya).

most peeps are not paying 100 vat thou lots of people only paying a little still adds to it.
To be honest; if I had to do it over again OC has their hazro 27wc on sale atm - and you have more rights then if you by chance got a dud or didnt like.

I think you meant to say - that woman is out of this world ;)

Quick update....

Xbox works fine using a DVi-HDMi adapter although it looks a bit fuzzy. Standby works fine as well. Also Blu-ray works fine with no extra software no HDCP issues playing direct from disc.
Just had a quick go of dirt and there is no ghosting or picture blurring, I'm too scared to try Sonic...

I could not be happier with this monitor its just stunning...

Monsters inc Blu-Ray...

The only negatives I can see so far is the stand is a little wobbly and the screen is really reflective...

No i know what your saying moogley, i had older monitor and xbox looked fuzzy, but changed monitor and was crystal clear, so there defo somit up , maybe its xbox settings? hmmmm if xbox cant ouput nicely on this, ill defo think about selling this monitor, which is a great shame, cause its a beast.

Personally I would sell the Xbox..... :D

720p might be better tbh, scaler can simply use every group of four pixels as one then. 1080p needs interpolation. I'm amazed it worked at all, all I needed was a 2560x1440 screen with a scaler and going with this information this seems to match those criteria.. could have gotten two instead of the single HZ27WD I have now. First time I've regretted my purchase :(

That's the thing with a glossy screen, they look fantastic but once you get a lot of light into a room there is a lot of reflection from it.
Just shut the curtains/blinds.

There's no going back once you've had it this good, I just hope my Catleap lasts until OLED screens become available and affordable.

Whats so wrong with your HZ27WD monitor Axeia ?
Well basically nothing, one dead pixel aside, but I can live with that. International shipping costs to sent it back are worse.

But it was £499 when I bought it and the only reason I bought it instead of a Hazro HZ27WC which I could have picked up for £350 was the scaler. I (used to) game on my laptop which only had VGA/HDMI out so needed a screen with a scaler and basically paid £150 extra for it. Now it looks I could have gotten the PCBank for a lot less and still have a monitor matching my needs.

Axeia - I havent been following your conversation, does a specific type of these monitors run xbox/ps3 upscaled or something? Dont own a console but might do in future :)
On the previous page scroll down to MOOGLEYS post, he mentioned he had the xbox running on a PCBank monitor which would indicate it has a scaler as there'd be no image otherwise. The PCBank is $340-$400 (excluding import taxes which may or may not have to be included), that's quite the price difference. Going with current exchange rates that would let me buy two monitors.. and leave me with almost €100 to spare.
So yeah nothing is wrong with my Hazro but I could have so much more.. and perhaps even saved some cash.
Sorry for all the different valuta, I'm from the Netherlands so the euro is what matters to me ;)

Ok a little more testing with the Xbox and it's all a bit weird..

1080p seems to work dash is ok but when I try to load Forza the screen goes into standby. If I set the xbox to 720p there is nothing displayed.

I will never use it with the xbox but Axeia I would say it does not work %100 with the xbox unless I'm missing something...?
