Wouldn't they have to be certified to be used in the EU or something for ocuk to stock them?

BTW I am not ignoring the question of gaming, so far it seems very good, but i've not used it much yet.

Minor Detail, Anyway Hazro seem to stock them with a new badge on..

Very tempted to get one, just worried about import fees/duties etc

Even with import fees included you're going to be making a huge saving at least if you get what you want and it performs as wanted. I'm after a 10 bit 27'' with hopefully no sound issues (when in use) and as few dead pixels as possible I can deal with 3-4 on that type of screen size any more and it'll be a distraction. I also have the option to return it which I hope I don't have to use.

Should receive my 3 monitors Wednesday or Thursday it's already on it's way

Reading on the no dead pixel thing.. It seems a gimmick. If you report one you probably just get your fee back.. and those not complaining have paid extra.

Well if there's no complaining, thats a good thing right?? And I've had a few questions sent to me by the seller,

1 being "can I mark this down as gift" hmmm yea..

2 "how much would you like me to mark it down as" hmmmm £70 would do it nicely,

:D

What I mean is, that I would suspect that they charge you extra for a service they do not provide. You will have just as big a chance to get a pixel perfect screen without paying the fee.

So if 3 out of 10 complain, I just pay the fee back to the three of them and earn on the 7 others, just sitting on my bum.

The 7 others would have gotton the same screens without the extra fee...

I am not saying it is so, it was just suggested in the thread that was linked at the first page.

Well, the one I found and ordered with the perfect pixel guarantee was no more expensive than ones without it, so I don't see how I could lose on it :)

Agreed, I just had a look I didnt pay extra it seems, the cheaper one has no speakers the one i'm getting does, So I guess that would explain the £3more..

May I ask who the seller was you brought it from?

I bought from bigclothcraft, item 150788738821.
I did buy one by mistake yesterday on my dad's ebay account - using my family's PC as I'm selling mine and forgot I wasn't logged in :p messaged the seller and they agreed to cancel, so I rebought under my own account.
The one I bought yesterday was a little more expensive as I was going to buy a warranty with it, but looking at their return terms they pay return postage if it's faulty - I just didn't want to be paying over £100 to send back a faulty item. The ones that don't allow you to purchase the Squaretrade warranty are a little cheaper, this was £217.

Also, the ones listed as "Super" apparently have a more robust stand, the one I bought is "Super" so I guess we'll see how flimsy or not the stand is when it arrives. If it's really bad I'll pick up a cheap VESA mount and wall mount it, it'd only be a few inches further back than it would be on its own stand but you'll see what I mean when it arrives and I post pictures.

Sorry for rambling, I'm excited :D

Thats cool I brought from same guy, I cant wait also... should be here by Friday with any luck, I'll post pictures up and a mini review if anyone is interested.

Oh god these look great for the money, I was holding out for the Hazros to come on offer again but this may sway me!

I'd love see reviews from people who have got them. That forum linked in the original post makes my eyes burn, it's just so ugly and the link seem to link you back to the same thread or some other ugly thread that still doesn't have the info promised.

Are there different "brands" of this monitor, as in the Crossover?

What input(s) do they have?

Am I right in saying they are glossy 1440p?

Oh and +1 for OCUK stocking them!

There are different brands - Crossover, Catleap, PCBANK, Achieva, maybe one or two others - but they're all the same panel, the only difference is the bezel and stand. Most seem to just be DVI but some do have multiple inputs though they are obviously more expensive. They're all the same 2560x1440 resolution as they're the same panel, some have the option of a glass front but this carries the same risk as a Hazro of having dust or dirt trapped behind the glass which is not something you can return it for (some of the sellers will let you return as unwanted but you have to pay return shipping which is about £100).

Thanks for the reply, I'd rather not get a glass one due to the dust risk, so like the Hazros are the none glass ones glossy?

I would also prefer a range of inputs (unless they cost a lot more) so I I'll have to do some searching when I've got some time.

You gonna review yours when you receive it?
