The one I bought actually comes with one :) but I'll just change the lead as it takes a standard 3 pin connector just like a PC PSU.

I checked the description again for the inputs, and under "Description" right down at the bottom, DVI-D Dual Link is listed. Strange that it mentions D-Sub as that is indeed VGA, but it also says it takes HDMI and component in along with optical and audio out /shrug
Guess we'll see when it arrives heh, I'm expecting audio in (for the built in speakers, not that I'll ever use them) and DVI, nothing else.

If it has DVI, HDMI and component I'm sold!

I'm gonna guess at it having only DVI and audio in too :(

Tempted to go for the multi input Catleap for £294, for an extra £37 I could get the pixel perfect one. Dunno if it's worth it though, on hard forum people were mentioning that with the pixel perfect ones, some still had problems, they just got some form of refund.

I'd just be annoyed if I had some dead pixels.

I'm not sure if dead pixels would bother me all that much on a screen with so many, I guess it would depend where they were. I read that the pixel perfect guarantee might not guarantee no dead pixels, rather no stuck pixels - which are more annoying after all, rather have a little black dot than a little blue one. It's a chance you have to take when you buy any screen, granted if you buy one from the UK you can DSR it and try again but you're never 100% guaranteed to have no dead pixels unless you're buying a much higher grade monitor.
If I have dead pixels on mine which aren't covered by the guarantee and I'd have to pay to send it back (bigclothcraft offers a 30 day return policy if you don't want it but you have to pay return shipping) I'd be fairly confident of being able to sell it on in the UK for roughly what I paid for it.

agree there captain :) would do the same if i discovered a problem also, waiting on it coming :)

I've had no problems with dead pixels, I just bought the standard one. I think you have as much chance of having dead pixels as any other monitors, after all it uses the LG panel. So I really would not worry about it, you don't seem to hear that many people getting dead/stuck pixels anymore.

Here are some settings I am using: http://www.overclock.net/t/1225919/yamakasi-catleap-monitor-club/1990#post_16857587

And a fix to use the same settings in steam: http://www.overclock.net/t/1225919/yamakasi-catleap-monitor-club/2050#post_16873024

Now the colours are 100x better and the whites look completely white. Before doing this they looked slightly yellow, I did not notice it until I tried those settings.

@no_1_dave: Sorry to disappoint you, but mine got shipped on the 15th March and only arrived on the 28th! It actually arrived in London on the 16th, no idea what took so long :/

OCUK really should get a pallet or two of these in. The idea of a 27" IPS screen for so little money is tempting but having a UK point of contact (even OCUK :o) for a little more money (£20-30) would make it impossible to ignore!

Imagine it arrives and there is a lovely insect under the glass or it's smashed to bits...

like overnight this threads doubled in post count !

This reminds me of the hmm what was that popular Ocuk VA panel where it simply sold out cos it was just high quality.

No word yet on my suggestion post...but early day lol

I'm doubtful OCUK will do anything about it since the Hazros are just another variation of these monitors for the UK

Not only that, buying pallets of these is going to cost more in import duty/tax, I don't think they'll slip through like a single monitor seems to! Plus the cost of having to deal with the warranty and having to send it back to korea. It would put them pretty much at the price of Hazro's for the end user.

well as i pointed out before, the price we are buying them out now, is with a mark up and shipping cost.

they go for like $200-250 in Korea, and word is the price that some of the ebay sellers are getting them for in bulk is even less. Hmm even with duty/tax , could a site like OCUK not still make a profit ? idk , just seems like they could.

I just pulled the trigger on the Catleap Multi input lets hope it's a good decision!

The extra inputs will come in handy for the xbox, freeview hd and hopefully my macbook aswell.

For £300 you're pretty much getting the Hazro WD with a better stand (I think) which is £540. Was item no.140717987281.

I found this video which shows the general monitor and the stand swivel, looks very nice IMO, especially for a cheap Korean monitor.

I agree with everything you said except I'd say WC/WD as most not all monitors are 8-bit displays rather than 10. Will still look amazing regardless I've done my best to get the 10 bit panel in the 3 monitors I ordered. But nothing is a guarantee until you have it working as intended, should be here on Wednesday  and like everyone else I can't get over the nice savings I'll have made. 3 Korean monitors for half the cost of getting 3 Hazro WD's, an absolute bargain.

Hmm. I suspect, if OcUK imported these, they would end up with the same complaints as the ones in the Hazro-thread, like some amd cards having the logo blocking bios and such.

The Catleap does not look as wobbly as I feared. But I read that some found them listing to one side.....

Reading the other thread also revealed some screens shipping with shoddy weldings on the print and cabling. All things you are able to correct yourself fairly easy, if you know how to do it, or know where to look to find out how.
Potential problems, that seems to be in the minority..

But it is a LOT cheaper.....

I am on the fence, and I keep looking to either side of it, hehe.

I think I will either do this super cheap, and very potentially great buy... Or shell out a huge amount and go all out on a 30" Hazro.

It will probably have to wait to next month whatever I choose... I hope you guys getting ones now will find these great and give some feedback to this thread.

Crossing fingers for you guys!

Ordered yesterday and already on a plane to the UK :D:D:D
Just searched for flight OZ521, seems it's a daily flight from South Korea to the UK meaning I should have my monitor by Thursday. I'm out all day at a wedding thursday though so probably friday :)
