wow! - It just keeps getting better!. I was gunna try to mess around today (whilst vomiting my brains out with a sickness bug) by updating the bios, but wahay: As someone earlier mentioned I can now mysteriously get into the BIOS fine!

One thing I do note though is looking in Windows Update, There was an Intel corporation - Display - Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000 update applied on 20/4/12 - That must have kicked something in the rear!

It still doesn't show the BIOS whilst booting (but my bios is set to 1 sec pause time so fair does) - But if I hit DEL upon bootup it now works :D - I am now thoroughly 120% happy with this monitor.

BF3 however is another feat entirely - I've never seen my 7970 struggle so much (1125/1575) lol!. Need to knock some of the settings down from the standard ULTRA mode and see how I can get reasonable framerates now. The REAL fun begins :>

^ I think my 6950 with unlocked shaders is going to struggle when my catleap turns up. I don't have the spare cash after my catleap purchase to buy another 6950 (I would have to buy a bigger PSU too). So I guess I will have to turn the settings down from ultra.

Soooooo tempted to get a PCBank PB2700, I have a feeling my 560Ti might die a sudden death though!

Those that have one / ordered, how long is delivery looking to take?

I ordered my catleap on Monday but because of the time difference between here and S. Korea I had an e-mail from bigclothcraft which i didn't read untill tuesday which asked me

1) May I mark item as gift?
2) How much price I put on invoice?

3) May I ask your model number of video card in computer?
-This monitor don't works with Mobile video card in Laptop and macbook.

4) May I check your phone number and address for express shipping service?
(Our company only use personal information for shipping)

So I replied to the questions and had an e-mail today saying it is ready to be shipped but it probably won't be shipped until tonight as Korea are about 9 hours ahead of us.

I have just realised that i never gave the seller my phone number, will this cause a problem with the courier?

silly question but what difference does this make to the fee?

From the HMRC website -

Goods sent as a gift that are over £40 in value are liable to import VAT. Customs duty also becomes payable if the value of the goods is over £135 but is waived if the amount of duty calculated is less than £9.

To qualify as a gift:
■ the customs declaration must be completed correctly
■ the gift must be sent from a private person outside the EU to a private person(s) in this country
■ there is no commercial or trade element and the gift has not been paid for either directly or indirectly by anyone in the UK
■ the gift is of an occasional nature only, for example, for a birthday or anniversary

Hmm maybe I spoke too soon about mine being so good! So I was using the monitor last night, everything is fine, I goto bed and switch it off. I log in tonight and I'm not too sure how to explain this but it now looks like I have what I would describe as scanlines on the monitor, you know like on and old CRT or arcade machines.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Now this is weird, its just corrected itself! The brightness seemed to have gone way down too even with it up full. But it just kinda 'poppped' back to looking like it did previously. Video card? THe VERY poor DVI cable perhaps? The dodgy power brick?

Are you using the supplied DVI lead....?

If I use the one that came with mine I get flickers and some odd effects..
