starting to get scared...

EDIT: And a not-so-drunk girlfriend arrives back home. Time to hit the hay and hope I will wake up to a tracking number.

Just a quick update with regards to my damaged monitor. Sent clothman pics and video and he responded pretty quickly apologising etc. Has given me details of his DHL account number to ship back to Korea which is being picked up Monday. He is going to ship a replacement upon receipt of the damaged one - hopefully I'll get better luck 2nd time around.

The guy has been very nice and its not costing me a thing to send back, so whilst I am still gutted that it arrived damaged, I cant complain about the returns process/service.
 
That's great news PJH! And to think he wouldn't and you wouldn't have this sort of problem if they just wrapped them in a few sheets of bubble wrap and put them into another box.


My PCBank is on it's way, well it got picked up at half 4 their time, so guessing it'll be on a night flight. Going to be a longggg weekend! :cool:
 
Thats good PJ, one thing it seems is that all the sellers seem to be pretty cool with refunds and replacements.

Yep - I couldn't ask for anything more to be honest. He seems like a really good guy and has said that my replacement will have 'more packing'. :)

You should advise him to package the monitors he sends across the other side of the world a lot better than he currently does. Good to see the big clothy bugger is sorting it out for you.
 
When did you order Azza? I haven't received a tracking number yet.

Also, is it a bank holiday on Tuesday? That's going to make the wait even harder...


I ordered on late Wednesday night, so it would have been early Thursday morning there. bigcloth asks you some questions which I answered Thursday morning ~9AM so that's like 5PM over there so I'm guessing it was too late to get picked up by the time I replied to him.

Guessing it might be a day or two for yours to get dispatched from verypopularretailerofelectricalitemsincludingmonitors_korea.
 
Plus the fact Hazro are using Grade A panels

Oh really? News to me. I have 3 HZ27WCs - 2 have quite bad yellow tint issues on the sides (not white glow) and one is perfect apart from a dead pixel. I wanted to exchange one of the yellow tint ones and one of your employees said there isn't any point as Hazro use Apple's rejected panels so there are going to be issues with them all.
 
Who said mine have a bit of yellow tint, I said they were quite bad. It's more of a shift from bright white on the left of the screen, to a really horrible dull yellow on the right. And why should they have any at all, especially when my third one (with the dead pixel, which I don't mind as it's near the top right corner) has none.
