I don't think the crossover does a multi input, there is a thread on OCN which has a few pictures on getting the back off IIRC, I saw it the other day, my stand is slightly wonky so I will eventually change it for either an arm or a more sturdy stand

Cheers just looked at it, I think I can handle that.

Just 1 final question I really need to know. Whata re the dimensions of the screen itself? WITHOUT THE STAND. I'll be buying soon as I find out

Depends on the model you buy really but the Yamakasi is 65x40x3cm (WxHxD)

Fairly simple really, i've just never taken a monitor apart before so didn't know what to expect :) there is a guide on the first post of the OCN thread but essentially its just;

1. Take out 8 screws from back
2. Remove front bezel from unit
3. Take out 4 screws holding panel to back bezel
4. Lift up panel and detach 3 cables connected to it
5. Detach the stand

Then do the reverse :) I just **** myself when I saw one of the cables was just held in place with electronic tape but its been mentioned that this is quite common :S

Settled for the Achieva in the end simply because prices for the Multis have gone up by £40-£50 from yesterday so I don't mind paying £10 more for Ahieva's that wont need opening up.

Just gotta tell the seller to send me a Dual Link DVI cable with it and change the Korean plug to a UK one.

Do all these monitors use the same powerbrick connection? (mains to power brick)

They all come with dual link DVI cables anyway and you'll end up with a cheap adapter for the Korean plug.

If the adapter bothers you then just swap the kettle lead for a UK one.

Oh they're all just Kettle leads? for some reason I thought they were the triangular ones that come on some laptops. Got tonnes of kettle ones laying around anyway.

Nice one!

Is that a hackintosh I see there?

Monitor is still working... :D

According to my mate his mate just said he repaired the driver board. I'm not going to ask to many questions as it was done as a favour and I don't even know the guy that did it but I imagine it was done in his spare time..

I'm not going to take it apart and have a look as it's working fine now so don't want to tempt fate. It's also bolted back on to my stand.

Just happy it's all working ok again and hopefully will last for Diablo..... :)
