I have had an email from bigcloth about my monitor and he has offered me a $100 part refund which im happy with. So far his service has been very good.

I would highly recommend Bigcloth - he paid for the shipment back to Korea after it was delivered damaged and issued a full refund when he received it back. I lost out on the small DHL customs fee, but all in all he's a jolly decent guy.

Not going to risk the hassle of getting another one mind - have ordered a G2773HS which should be delivered tomorrow!

Yer i Orderd mine from there as well. My PC Bank is currently sat in a DHL office in Oxford so I should get it tommmor.

I got mine from him too and communication was good, haven't had any issues that I would need to contact him about but it's certainly reassuring to hear that should a problem arise it might well be sorted out.

just taken delivery of an Achieva Shimian Q270 an hooked it up (at work, so briefly, yes I couldn't wait!) to my macbook pro via mini displayport to dual-link dvi adapter and I am blown away by the image!! Going to use it primarily for photo editing and interested to hear of anyone else using a similar set up.

Notice any dead/stuck pixels?

None so far Phunky but will do proper check when i get home

came with a hand written note saying it had been checked.

Enjoy them :) i've packed up mine ready for ParcelForce to pick it up as its going to a new home already :( but only because i've got a 100hz version coming sometime this week :D

Mine's left France :O
With any luck I'll get it 1-2 days earlier than the ETA (11th).

Got my 2 vertical monitor arms but...my current Viewsonic VX2260WM might be a bit naff in portrait mode, since it's a TN panel, at a good few angles the banding/ poor viewing angle is apparent. Hope when I got both of them together it's not a prob since I'm not a big fan of having 1x27" in Landscape and 1x22" in Landscape too.

height adjustment clamp was somewhat of a ***** to tighten but I like it, damn clamp's sturdier than the bracket/ clamp one I got for my desktop shelf LOL.

I don't really get this whole viewing angles stuff. OK I can see from comparing my IPS to my TN that the IPS is way better but who really views their monitor from weird angles? Is it just me that uses my PC for PC use and my TV for my TV or are more people than I though using their monitor to view TV too?

When was it dispatched? How long have most of these taken to get to the UK?

Ordered it Friday evening but by then Korean Post Offices etc are closed so he despatched it yesterday morning. So far it's gone from Korea, to China, then today it was in Kazakhstan and by 3pm was in Paris.

While I'm sitting down, it's alright- and since it's a 2nd monitor it's not like I'll be viewing any multimedia on it while slouched so that's not a problem. It's just a tiny nitpick that whenever I stand up everything on screen looks ghastly.

Again in practice it should be a minor issue.... And I very rarely use my TV (only when watching stuff with the family).

This is kind of my point, I totally get where you are coming from but it is always "when I stand up" or "when I look from the the side".

Normal viewing angles are pretty much fine for normally PC usage and I have an IPS monitor so it's not like I can't see the difference, just that I can't see why it's used so much to justify buying IPS over TN (I can see the point in terms of picture quality much more btw).

well my PC bank is with everything looking like it was in good nick. BUT PC powers on and detects the screen as "digital" and is at the correct res but nothing on screen,

Green light is on and looks like power is going to the panel (monitor dims when is switched off) im using my own good quality DVI-D cable hooked up to my GTX 680 and i get the same results plugged into a radeon 5450 , any ideas before i try and pop it open ? :( :( :(
