I've been on the end of a few punches but never floored and most when I was very drunk. So it's hard to know because you don't see replay footage.

What the guy did was stupid and dangerous and no doubt he will rightly have plod pay him a visit, but any defence of Billy the Flid is... well, people can draw their own conclusions.
