Your controversial gaming opinions?

I avoid games that have Anime. Can't stand the cancerous style. It instantly rules out over 80% of Jap developed games for me.

Above: An example of Jap crap.

How anyone outside their teenage years can like this is beyond me?

Bf3 and bf4 were are step backwards regarding features and how they worked in the game compared to bf2. Its so bad that it killed the franchise for seasoned bf veterans.
Agreed.

Casual gamers with the starting weapons could enjoy BF2 and not be at a huge disadvantage from those that had played a 1,000 hours and unlocked everything.

BF2142 was when the rot set in for me.

Overwatch is for feminists (Because it's over hyped and casual)

LOL is for girls and feminists too. (because they all play it)

COD is recycled overpriced crap, because they release a new one every year plus it's season pass, thus killing the player base in the old game. (Only decent COD was COD4)

The Battlefield series going the same way as COD.

People who complain about high explosive and instant kill weapons are soft.

I couldn’t give a flying **** about cosmetic items in games or customising your character’s appearance. It’s all about the game mechanics.

EDIT - Or emotes either. They’re so annoying.

Don't give a crap about Zombies in games. I think it's overblown and everyone jumps on the bandwagon because, well, everyone else is already on the bandwagon.

I don't care about appearances of my character. I take the default look and away I go.

Overwatch is an average cartoon game that gets a lot of publicity because it's a Blizzard game

All Dice games are rubbish.

- Multiplayer games are rubbish, mainly because multiplayer game players are rubbish.
- AAA games haven't done anything excitingly new since the middle 2000s and are not worth anyone's time or money.
- Fancy graphics don't mean anything.
- Indie games are the best, most innovative, and fun games you can possibly play.
- No Man's Sky is a brilliant game.
- Developers who add crafting to their games should be sentenced to ten years electric chair.
- Minecraft is the most overrated ***** game ever.
- All survival games are certain to leave early access next year.
- 2018 will see the release of two non-Steam games.

The alien bits in Crysis were the best bits. Before that it was boring as hell.

Bioshock sucks balls. SS2 smacks it around so badly it doesn't know what year it is.

WoW was always "My first MMO" and was designed for people with ADHD. But it was Blizzard so it couldn't fail.

Dragon Age was arse compared to BG.

Firaxis' XCom is utterly inferior to MicroProse's XCom/UFO. Destroyed the game utterly.

eSport is a joke. Get a real job.

90s were the best gaming decade, but I'm annexing the very very early 2000s to go with that.

AAA devs can't write a good story anymore. Indie games are much better.

The pvp in warcraft is really well balanced & I didn't remotely mind having my pvp gear gated, just so that the pve'ers couldn't get at it sooner to rush their pve dungeons.

Haha that's truly awful. I don't mind a bit of styling but that is making my eyes bleed.

I cannot get on board with pixel art games. The whole retro thing is lost on me.

+1 to the anime thing being a complete turnoff for any game.

I can't play Witcher 3, mainly because of the combat. I click once and he starts spinning around like a moron, I hate it when the avatar does complicated moves in response to one click. If the devs want spinning around in their game, why not implement it through a set of moves? Make me work for it a bit? Who's playing the game here, me or the dev? W3 was a waste of money for me. Don't even get me started on the Batman games.

I have a copy of Witcher 1. I never opened it, still sat on my shelf in its plastic wrapping.

Openworld is a DEV excuse for "we have no content" so lets make you spend 80% of your time travelling

F2P is the worst thing that has happend to gaming. Especially MMOS
