Russia can't even defeat Ukraine next door. If they were powerful enough and daring enough to ever do anything substantial to the UK, I'm sure our military wouldn't be relying on nerds off OcUK or Barry and his mates down the local boozer.

what people with lots of land couldn’t afford a large house? Odd I deal with quite a few rich families dating back centuries and they all keep the house.
Go to any national trust house and the most common story is the boys were lost in either war and the family grew old and left it to the trust.

Just because you don’t like the politics of the country doesn’t mean there is no reason to fight for it.
The politics of a oppressive regime like that in Russia would be a lot worse than the one we have at home…

Here’s how it would go, first to be called up would be the reserves, then. Would be the recently released (I’m in this category) then it would be those with skills the army want (lorry drivers, warehousemen, clerks etc) to free up staff to move to combat roles, then it would be most likely the middle class and upper classes as the working classes are more likely to be reserved occupations.
This is all hypothetical, if you got called up and refused. You would be arrested under military law. This means a military prison no comfortable jail cell (think 6x6 cell and solitary) those that say they could handle this don’t know how well the army breaks people.
The likelihood is most people will say they are pacifist, in which case you would still be drafted and sent to a non combat unit think logistics, admin or medical.

Join me on the front line, a 48 year old with a 3, 6 and 9, year old boys. One wants to be a scientist who specialises in Space time and space travel (quite clever in that subject), one wants to be a 'vet', basically wants to look after all animals (he loves animals and looking after them), the 3rd, the 3 year old loves Paw Patrol. My kids and probably many of kids from members on these here forums, are worth fighting for. Dont think theres nothing to fight for in this country.
With my non British passport i got a choice pal. Let those patriots fight wars for those ***** in suits.

Libya - Regime change, again another mess it ended up being. Was really about Ghaddafi giving up the dollar?
Syria - False flags galore, Cameron getting denied his airstrikes, people were fed up.
The governments clearly don't want to protect its own borders and too busy wrecking other countries.
Why would anyone help them war mongers in government go into another conflict.
