b0rn2sk8: When it shipped from Apple did it say the estimated delivery was 2nd October? or did it say much later?

It Originally said the 2nd, then it slipped to 4/5th but now its back to the 2nd. But i doubt it will get here till the 3rd now.



Its currently in Belgem Euro Hub

what date was it actually shipped then? I am wondering what the ACTUAL normal amount of time it takes to get here over the weekend is - so if I know when yours was shipped and when you get it then I can guess when I will get mine...

Funnily enough the online tracking for me now shows:

Just to stir the pot..

My MacBook Pro shipped from Shanghai and got here in 5 working days (7 including a weekend) the week they were released.

Once it reached Europe it took 24hrs to my door.

2hrs later than SS-89 when "Shipped From Originating Depot" - I would bet it wouldn't be 2hrs later than SS-89's when it delivers...

Rather annoyed - guess it's a lesson learnt, don't preorder Apple's new product again, just go to the nearest store.

The bread joke came about in the general section of the forums because a scammer emailed a member, so to retaliate the member asked him to take pictures of himself with a loaf of bread to prove he was serious

Ok some piccys of my 16GB ipod Touch sorry about the quality as they were taken on my p1i, updated to 1.1.1 firmware and there is absolutely no difference, screen is very good no negative black issue (week 38) so dont worry about the update ruining good screens. Best Gadget I have ever owned i'm in love with it.
