Z68 Extreme4 Gen3

I love the board but I have an issue with my sennheiser USB headphones/mic not working properly on occasion. A re-log sorts it.

Anyone else had this issue? If so, did you find a fix?

I haven't flashed the BIOS yet and I'm sure its a USB driver or USB support issue.

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem before I go trying to fix it.

BTW, I love how it overclocks a 2700k to 4.6 stable with changing just one setting in the BIOS.

Will the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 get in the way of 16GB of corsair vengence?

I have ordered both and never thought!

Should be fine, its no where near as big as say the Silver Arrow.... I have the Phanteks and made the same mistake, I ended up flogging it and getting the low profile set instead.

Read the thread on XS forums mate - Use the drivers they recommend there, not the latest ones ;)

I was pretty disappointed with my corsair vengence. If you have a really close look at them you can see that the thermal tape on the heatsinks don't quite touch the memory chips. If you squeeze the heatsink it will touch the chips but will come a way again if you stop squeezing.

Dunno if there is a way to fix this or taking the heatsinks off and puting some paste on the memory chips would help.

Or removing the heatsinks as all they are doing is insulating the memory chips if they don't touch....

bumps mine to about 1.29v>1.30v - which is well within spec mate ;)

One user he has reported that it didn't work for him though, but I think he has a poor 2700k which doesn't clock well as he needed more vcore.

Any issues they go back :(

On 1.5v ram sticks the heatsinks are just there for show and they will work all day long with no issues I'll bet.
